Stars Over the Castle - Storey Lake - Kissimmee, FL

Lets start with the positive-The house had a great amount of space and was in a fantastic location being close to some necessity stores. The easy access to a pool which was warm was a great addition. The parking was right out front although designed for smaller vehicles so the SUV stuck out a lot. However, photos in the listing did not reflect the condition of the home when we arrived. For the price paid we were disappointed. The pool was filthy and the patio was not cleaned, had chewed gum and broken balloons everywhere. There were random items just left sitting out there including a crib and mattress(which was rained on), and multiple strollers. The house vents were filthy and full of old chunks of dust. A few of the bathrooms were not cleaned properly. Several wine glasses were in the cabinets cracked. Hand prints and dirt marks on several of the walls, clothing stickers from new clothes just stuck to the walls and on the "clean" blankets in the closet. The walls had nicks and dings everywhere. The blinds to go out to the patio were broken and cracked, and the safety fence that blocks the pool was torn and not very safe. The bathrooms only had the toilet paper on the roll and no extra left, half a roll of paper towel in the kitchen and only 1 garbage bag(there was 10 of us there for a week) and there were throwaway plates under the bed in one of the bedrooms with crumbs. This house has great potential but definitely needs some TLC and refreshing with a good deep clean. I notified Vacasa on arrival with our concerns especially the pool not being cleaned and did not receive a response until the evening before we checked out and the response was only that they were back logged with emails and are catching up. The person I was texting with originally with the concerns did however send someone to clean the pool the same day as when we arrived back from shopping the pool was cleaned.

Home is large and very clean and convenient to stores and the parks. The amenities were great at the resort

La casa muy cómoda, grande y con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones en familia. La compañía muy atentos, tuvimos problema con el código para obtener la llave y nos resolvieron de inmediato. El area de juego brutal, la pasamos chévere ahí sólo faltaron los cables para la consola del 🎮 pero todo lo demás súper. Recomiendo que si tienen oportunidad paguen el calentador de la piscina. Volvería a quedarme sin duda alguna!

The house was nice lots of room the grill didn’t have enough gas to cookout some of the furniture was not in good shape (dining room chairs)never received parking pass would have been great if ceiling fans we in the house neighborhood lost power (4hrs) over all still enjoyed the house ❤️

Was disappointed that we could not get the hot tub heated.

The home was really nice it was just enough space for the whole family and the location was on the point. Will be booking again real soon.
