Updated 1930s cabin with lake view, boat slip, large deck, WiFi & AC - dogs OK

This rustic cabin, nestled in the woods overlooking Bass Lake, is one of the area's true gems: built in the 1930s and full of the authentic charms of a traditional mountain vacation.

As you arrive, you'll be greeted by ample room to park out front, including a space for a boat trailer. The empty lot next door is part of the cabin's property as well. Inside, the house has been updated to cater to modern visitors, offering central air conditioning and heating, free WiFi, a smart TV, and a kitchen that's outfitted with a gas range. Enjoy a large deck, a separate bunkhouse, and access to a slip in the boat dock a quick walk down the road.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a wonderful spot for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away.

Things to know
Dog-friendly for a nightly fee

Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

We love all the beds and space . The bunkhouse is so much fun for our kids and friends . The kitchen was very well stocked ! We also love the proximity to the lake even though it’s not Lakefront . Very short walk to the boat .
