I love that the Oakes Street Bungalow has a been loved and preserved to represent a time from the past when life was simpler, when neighbors were family, and care was taken to make things last a lifetime. This home is in the midst of one of those beautiful treelined streets walking distance to all that 6th Ave has to offer, yet it remains peaceful and quiet and totally relaxing.
The living areas in the home are spacious and open. I loved that you could close off the sleeping areas for privacy, and that the bathroom was a luxurious time capsule. The upstairs has a large comfy lounge area for watching a movie or two, or just a separate area for the children to play and sleep.
The surrounding gardens and picturesque brick patio drew me outside immediately! An elegant quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee to start my day with a cup of coffee or wind down peacefully with a glass of wine at the end of the day.
A great place to settle for a night or extended stay - either way, you've just found the perfect place! Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovingly cared for home! I couldn't have been more pleased!

Our family loved staying in this cute home. The neighborhood is quiet, but walking distance to many local restaurants, coffee, and shops.
The owners are very responsive, and have lovingly updated this century-old craftsman bungalow.
