Find a perfectly rustic setting at the base of the Wallowas at this cabin near the southern shore of Wallowa Lake. This is a true escape where you can spend your days hiking, kayaking, swimming in clear glacial waters, and fishing for kokanee and trout.
This cabin is tucked into a woodland area on the south side of Wallowa Lake, a few hundred feet up the road from the darling Matterhorn Village. It's the perfect location for exploring both lake and mountains, as you'll be less than half a mile from Wallowa Lake State Park, boat rentals at the marina, and the tram to the top of 8,200-foot Mt. Howard. The Wallowa Lake Trailhead - the gateway to the beautiful Eagle Cap Wilderness - is only a mile south as well.
This cabin will make you feel as though you've stepped back in time, offering a front porch where you can sit with your morning coffee and relax in the swing in the afternoons. Inside, the wood-paneled living room exudes warmth and coziness; relax and play board games and watch movies in the evenings. A country kitchen and three simple bedrooms. Also enjoy the brand new gas grill!
