King's Villa - East Stroudsburg, PA

Our stay was beautiful. From the security we felt with gates at any entrance to the updated appliances in the home. However, as lovely as the updates were and even the layout to the home was - the house had a few cons that I couldn’t overlook. Once I arrived (I got there before everyone else) I checked out the inside of the home. And I must say the home was beautiful but cheaply made. From the shower doors to the bathroom door, the closets, the dishwasher and even the garbage drawer. The attention for detail was NOT there. There were lamps in areas where there weren’t plugs nearby. They were just there for looks. The shower doors were just as wobbly and unhinged as the closet doors. The shelf in the shower of the bathroom downstairs was tilted and looked vulnerable - so I wouldn’t risk putting anything too heavy on it. The closet in the bedroom downstairs could only be opened on one side because the other side kept coming off the track. The garbage drawer kept coming off track. Even the dish washer was a complete nightmare. Anything in the house that needed to be on some sort of track - was surely off of it. Now that we covered the main floor let’s make our way upstairs. The bathroom upstairs in the common area the door between the shower and the toilet again was completely off track in fact I showed up to the home with that door tilted sideways and off track. Besides the bathroom upstairs the closet upstairs in the master bedroom was another thing that was off track. Other than that the upstairs wasn’t a bad area. The pros to this home I must saying was the layout, the updated appliances, the amount of seating on the main floor, the hot tub and the location. I think if the owner of the property could fix these issues then the home would’ve been a solid 10 out of 10. But for right now I would give it a solid 5.

The home is very nice and cozy. Well equipped and nice for a larger group

We enjoyed the home and privacy the community had to offer. Hot tub was a huge plus! The local deer are extremely docile which was neat to see in the wild. We will be sure to look out for Vacasa next time we do a short term rental.

BY first impression the house is beautiful but upon further inspection a lot was lacking

The house and location were great. We had issues with the tv and rodent presence but they were rectified by Marissa and her team.
