The coziness and comfort of the cabin the beautiful views of the mountains and Valley sitting by the fireplace place with drinks in hands

We loved our stay here in the cabin. Just about everything that you need is provided. A great stay if you want to be around the Gatlinburg/Pidgeon Forge area without being in the middle of it. Cabin view is absolutely gorgeous. While I wouldn't say you need four wheel drive to get to the cabin, an experienced driver would be best. Switch backs and very steep inclines. If I had to say anything negative, for us it would be the bed. It was pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, it was great!

Cabin was clean and cozy with a nice view. Loved the location being somewhat secluded but close to town and easy to find. I would recommend this cabin.

The views are absolutely wonderful from the deck, we enjoyed an excellent peaceful stay, looking forward to staying here again ...

Was a short trip for us and loved the cabin and location. Husband drove the jeep and loved the steeper hill to get there but the view from there was wonderful. Plan to go back.

Cabin was very clean and easy to access with pinpad. I loved how secure and private everything was. The drive to Pigeon Forge was about 20-25 minutes and about 40 to Gatlinburg, which was a nice option when we wanted to do more touristy things. Although there were plenty of shops in Seiverville. The incline to the cabin was pretty steep, but otherwise pretty easy to find.

Mockingbird's view is a cute cabin, easily within driving distance of Cade's Cover and Gatlinburg. The cabin is tucked in a quiet corner with a porch with a beautiful view.

The boyfriend and I drove down to TN to visit where he grew up. I’ve never been to the south and this was a fun experience coming from NYC. The cabin is cozy and simple, had everything we needed. No WiFi but service is fine if you need your phone. The view is gorgeous! The drive up the mountain made me nervous, luckily we threw the Wrangler in 4-wheel-drive and got up there fine. There are convinience stores, grocery stores and gas stations right when you come down the hill, so easy! We loved our stay and would definitely return!

what really disappointed me was finding the black mold under the bathroom rug and it looked as if they were trying to hide the small little dip in the floor or I'm not sure if it was rotting but the bathroom rug was covering it so u couldn't see but when i stepped out of the shower i felt the dip in the floor and flipped the rug up and that's when i found the mold. i mean seriously why didn't the housekeeping people say something to the owners about this or if they did a new bathroom rug at ur local Walmart or the dollar store doesn't cost that much but the mold is what did it for me!
Manager response:
We are very sorry housekeeping did not remove the dirty rug. The rug has been replaced, and the owner plans on repairing the floor. Thank you!

This is our second stay at Mockingbird view cabin and we absolutely love it. The view, the location of the cabin, and of course Matt makes the stay very relaxing. Making plans at the present to return to Mockingbird view cabin

This was a great cabin for our vacation. One thing to note before reserving, however, is that it is at the top of a very steep and winding incline. Not the easiest climb in the dark and will probably worry those who haven't driven anything like it.

The cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Clean, cozy, and a beautiful view! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away!

We enjoyed our stay at Mockingbird's View. Great view and location. We would stay again.
Manager response:
The local operations manager spoke to the guest and explained the roads leading up to the cabin are very passable. Many guests with vehicles similar to a Chevy Tahoe have successfully managed the road.

We never got to stay in the cabin. It was raining when we arrived and roads were very narrow and slick. We drive a full size Tahoe and our tires were spinning on the side of a huge mountain. There is no way we would have made the last turn to the cabin. We had to back down enough to finally turn around and leave the mountain.
We lost the entire price of the cabin and still had to pay for a hotel the 5 nights we were there. Description needs to tell everyone about very narrow roads and extreme switchback. Will not do business with them again and will let anyone know not to also

We love the quietness and just total relaxation we experienced!!!

The property was clean but there are a lot of potential dangers. Most of the wood panels on the walls and ceilings had black stuff growing on them that looked like mold. The hot tub's control panel was loose and water could get into the electricals. When AC was running in the house, the tub jet system failed and had to reset the switch on the electrical panel multiple times. Hot tub cover had mold growing on them on the inside and outside. Water was a bit dirty and the chlorine tabs made my skin very irritated and dried. None of the windows in the main quarters had any blinds or coverings and did not feel private with neighboring home. The neighbor's dog kept coming around disrupting our stay begging for food. Electric grill was not efficient for grilling as temperature wasn't hot enough to grill some burger patties. Interior carpet was outdated and bedding did not smell fresh. There was a dip that seemed to have a hole underneath the linoleum adjacent to shower. Foot can get caught there. No wifi was an issue. Overall, this cabin needs some updating and definite overdue for deck pressure washing. Dangerous electricals with hot tub. View is misleading because most of the mountain view are covered by tall trees around the deck. Moldy patio chairs and wobbly patio table.

Great little cabin, perfect for two people that was a little time away.

This cabin was lovely. Great sunrises over the mountain by the back deck. Perfect place for coffee. Please have someone drive who is confident going up steep hills and switch backs. Water was very tasty. Bed had some great pillows. I didn't turn the tv on once! The neighbors have a dog who is also quite friendly.
