Well-appointed home tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoyed the water and relaxing naps.

Great being on lagoon for early morning coffee on deck, lots of birds. Older house with some updating. Fit my need for 2 nights for 3 day art workshop in Port Orchard. Good proximity to Gig Harbor restaurants.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us, David, we are so glad to hear that you had a phenomenal getaway. We appreciate you letting us know that there is room for improvement and will follow up with our local team regarding your feedback. We hope to host you for another great stay on the lagoon in the future!

Delightful jewel box of a home on the water with close access to Gig Harbor and neighboring Tacoma. We enjoyed walking to the nearby beach which seemed to be a popular swimming and paddling area. The home overlooked the lagoon where there were many wildlife sightings: eagle, osprey, harbor seals. On a hot day, the home did not cool fast but we were provided a fan. Lastly, the lagoon is next to a busy road which could be distracting for some people.

We loved the privacy, the decor, and the view from this lovely little cottage. We had enough dishes for eating, and the hosts provided essential toiletries. The bed and furniture were comfortable. We especially liked the table in the kitchen which gave us fabulous views of the lagoon, where we watched seals and birds. There was even a pair of binoculars to use!

A few things that people who are considering this rental property should consider:
* This house would not be accessible for guests who have mobility issues.
* There was no air conditioning; nor was a fan provided, which made the house very uncomfortable for us on the hot days (90+ degrees).
* There was no hairdryer
* This is a lovely older home, but as with many historic homes, the bathroom is small. It did not bother us, but some may find it too cramped.
* Rt. 302 is very busy, even at night, so traffic sounds are constant.

Overall, we were quite pleased with this property and depending on the time of year, we would consider staying there again.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Linda, we're so glad you were able to enjoy your stay. Thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We take guest feedback very seriously and have forwarded your thoughts to the local staff so they can work to improve the house for future guests. We hope you choose to stay with us again.

The home feels like you're in a treehouse. The views are gorgeous with lots of windows to help enjoy it. The neighborhood is quiet. The wifi is fast and there is a modern kitchen and appliances.
