This is our 3rd time staying in Unit 149 and we keep returning for a reason. The view is unbeatable and we love going to sleep and waking up listening to the ocean. The pool area is comfortable and relaxing, and you are steps away from great food and shopping over at the Coconut Marketplace. And one of our very places to eat, Sleeping Giant Grill, is basically right out your front door.
Our last stay was pre COVID and it is now being managed by a different company. They have made some nice changes but there are a few things that could be updated. LOVED the new outdoor table and chairs. We watched the sunrise drinking coffee every morning for a couple of hours and those chairs made it quite comfy to do so. The mattress on the hide-a-bed seems to be new but the mattress on the main bed needs to be flipped occasionally because there was a huge valley on one side of the bed which made it uncomfortable. The welcome basket with chocolate macadamia nuts, a fresh pineapple, and the JoJo's gift card was such a nice surprise.
We will definitely be back!

The room was exceptional, great location near Kapaa. Wish Vacasa had a better relationship with the resort as we were treated like we didn’t belong by the front desk. We didn’t let it hamper our vacation, good times.

Beautiful location and view but I would not stay here again unless some upgrades were made. Most importantly when we came in we smelt mold we noticed the sheer curtains on the sliding glass door were full of mold that by far was the worst part of our stay. Bed feels broken we had to put some cardboard underneath so that it didn’t make so much noise at night even if we barely rolled over it was very loud and extremely uncomfortable needs new mattress. Part of the mold issue may be the water damage on the ceiling very visible

Door hard to open, looked as though inside had been flooded. Baseboards rotting Water damage to roof, Smelled like must and BO. Curtains rotting and stinky beyond repair. Looked like black mold on curtains. tub in bathroom need repair. floors were cracked, pitted and chipped. Room 149 was a total gut job. Furniture need cleaning and oiled.

I had a great time. The unit was nice. A little bit outdated, but still in a fabulous location. I had everything that I needed. It was so nice to be able to walk into the coconut market place and get a cup of coffee in the morning. The grounds were beautiful we kept. Definitely come here again

The property manager was helpful in placing a welcome basket in our room upon arrival. The rental was clean; however, it could use some updating and sprucing up. With the humid climate, there is some chipping/peeling paint and rust stains. The grounds were lush and well-maintained. The location on the beach was in close proximity to restaurants and shopping.

Out unit was oceanfront, and it was spectacular! Beautiful sunrises every morning, and within easy walking distance of a small tide pool that was perfect for our 9 month old to play in (& also was full of beautiful little tropical fish!) Also within easy walking distance of many shops and food places, and the best little coffee place ever! Located on the east side of the island so no where is too long of a drive. The room was great,and we would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay for your trip!! The on island contact was very responsive,and helped us with anything we needed right away! Even let us stay extra time on check out day because our flight was in the evening!!
