Home w/ woodsy backyard and great location just blocks from the beach!

Take in the Oregon Coast like never before with this amazing home in Gleneden Beach! Amenities like a gorgeous backyard - along with the nearby beach - come together to make this an obvious choice for your next getaway with family and friends.

Tucked away in the quiet community of Gleneden Beach, this home for six is less than a quarter-mile from the golden sands and crashing Pacific waves that give the town its name. This stretch of beach is much less crowded than Lincoln City's, to the north, and you'll have a few shops and eateries within a short distance here in town.

If it's too chilly to head to the shore, you can always pass the time at your expansive home. A swinging bench on the front porch lets you watch passers-by in comfort. Most surprising of all is the backyard - dense ferns and shrubbery, along with towering trees, give the large space a natural, woodsy feel that's nothing short of relaxing.

Inside, the living room offers leather and plush sofas and armchairs for relaxing by the warmth of the gas fireplace. Wireless internet and a flatscreen TV equipped with cable and a DVD player take care of all your entertainment needs. There's another living area upstairs with a matching set of wood-framed furnishings if you need some privacy.

The kitchen's spacious countertops, modern appliances, and a combination kitchen island and breakfast bar make it a fantastic cooking space. The wooden cabinets, however, add a rustic touch that matches decor like the antique clock of the living room. When you're done taking in the scenery, get to cooking - you can dish up your food at the window side table for five.

Leave cleanup to the dishwasher and head off to bed. Three bedrooms sleep a total of six guests, with each room offering a spacious queen-size bed. Two bathrooms - as well as a half-bathroom - let everyone refresh and rejuvenate themselves before heading out to explore.

Gleneden's coastline is among the first attractions to explore, but you needn't worry about packing your own lunch. Venues like the Salishack Tavern and the fantastic Side Door Cafe line the Gleneden Beach Loop, giving you plenty of choices when it's time to eat. Be sure to check out the Salishan Spa & Golf Resort, just to the north. More options for shopping and dining are just seven miles north in Lincoln City, while charming Depoe Bay is about the same distance south.

This was our second stay at this house this year. We love the layout and its proximity to a beautiful beach.

Cleaning not to our standards. Carpet needs a deep cleaning or replacement. Clothes washer had sand in it. White spray gloss on the sofa which we cleaned up. Toaster was broken and microwave wasn't working correctly. Rain gutters had weeds growing in them. It rained one night and the gutters overflowed because were clogged. Power went out in entire town one night and we couldn't find any candles. The front door deadbolt sticks and was difficult locking the door. After getting home we read past reviews: August 2021 - "The microwave has a bug". June 2021 - "The toaster was broken". This used to be a beautiful home, but is now in neglect.

Very nice, clean and comfortable. Spacious open floor plan with enough bathrooms to accommodate! The microwave has a bug but we were able to use it. I would definitely recommend this house.

We loved our stay here with our two young kids. We loved being able to walk 8 minutes to the beach every day. The house was so clean and in amazing condition. Definitely a wonderful and relaxing environment. Would love to stay here again!

This home was perfect for our trip.

We loved going in the hot tub and sitting around the campfire. This house has the best stocked kitchen in terms of cooking equipment that I've ever been in!
Just bring your own firewood because the wood provided was old and damp.
