Lit'l River Inn dining was at best satisfactory. Service was poor; however, the Inn/bar were cozy and the short traveling distance from Pacific Mist was most appreciated.

Albion River Inn was really good for dinner. The grocery store in Mendocino was relatively close and great selection.

Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor activities so we actually spent a lot of time at the cottage and enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the view.

We didn't get a chance to experience much of the town because we purchased groceries and stayed at the property the entire stay. It was so relaxing we didn't want to waste time dining out or seeing anything else because the privacy and view were over the top.

If time permits, on the return to San Francisco, we suggest stopping at some of the wineries along the 101. The proprietors are very welcoming and helpful - they love to share their stories and the stories of their wines.

We visited Point Arena, many amazing facts. Climb the tallest light house on this coast!
Captain Flint in Noyo Harbor.....best clam chowder
    Glass beach
    Town of Mendocino
Point Cabrillo light house and museum
The local store at Albion had all the basic that we forgot , w/a very kind friendly staff.
But more than anything was getting groceries and fresh fish at the Harvest Market right at the Hwy 20 intersection, going back to the house cooking and BBQ !
Staying at the house was our favorite thing!

St. Orres in Gualala was one of the best restaurants. Also Albion River Inn. Liked the wine tasting at Toulouse, Golden Eye and Lula in Anderson Valley.

The bench. As an earlier visitor said, it's really there, just not visible from house. Look for it for the most sublime view of the rocks and waves. But really, anywhere outside is a stunning view. The hot-tub at night was great for watching shooting stars.

Easy drive to Ft. Bragg and Mendocino. We ate dinner at the Ledford House. Somewhat European, I thought is was delicious. We also ate dinner at the Albion River Inn. Also delicious, both were expensive, but worth it!

The Albion location was absolutely perfect as we chose this location for many, many reasons such as location, proximity to Mendocino & Fort Bragg, ocean views, beaches, CSP's, Redwood forests, disc golfing and let's not forget wine country.

Everything you need is in Mendocino but Fort Bragg is a little bigger if you need more.

Dinner at Albion River Inn. Any of the window tables especially around sunset. If you like Scotch Whisky, you HAVE to go.

Beach at Navarro river is beautiful and has a large gathering of sea lions that are so much fun to watch.

I do not recommend the cliffhouse restaurant in fort bragg, the quality that was there years ago is no longer there, food was brought out cold, pasta was so over salted it was inedible. Extremely disappointed in a very expensive family meal to celebrate three birthdays, should have stayed in at sky song and made our own birthday dinner .
