Recent California vacation rental reviews

An airy modern home by the sea with fireplace, hot tub, and modern kitchen. We’ve stayed a couple of times. Only drawback is that Vacasa services are all managed remotely so you’ve got to go up to Gualala to pick up your parking and recreation passes. Check in at 4:00pm is a bit late and check out at 10:00 am means it’s difficult to fully enjoy your first evening or last morning. They sometimes offer you early check in but not until it’s too late to get there in time to take advantage of it. Sometimes late check out for a fee is available on your last day. You get notice the prior day.

The Silverado Resort is a beautiful property and the location is centrally located in Napa. We loved our condo- very, very clean, large space, and nicely decorated. Parking is very close. One point to note- the gym on the property is not included in your fee and is $25 for the day.

Definitely a well kept home and clean! Stayed for about a week in April. Relaxing and located in a quiet neighborhood. Batteries are definitely recharged and ready for the back to work grind!

Our favorite vacation spots in Southern California

Known worldwide for its vignettes of palm trees, Hollywood glamor, and soft sunsets, Southern California perpetually draws visitors in search of West Coast bliss. There are too many iconic sights to name in golden Los Angeles, but many travelers opt to spend their vacation in sunny San Diego---it's all a matter of preference. SoCal is also home to a few of the state's best mountain getaways, including Big Bear (where you'll find both ski runs and lake fun) and Idyllwild, known for forest serenity. If you're aiming for more of a desert vibe, we offer gorgeous Southwest rentals throughout the Coachella Valley, from Palm Springs to La Quinta and everything in between.

Coast to ski slopes in Central and Northern California

Laced along the path of legendary Highway 1, you'll find dozens of stunning vacation spots. From Cayucos and Morro Bay toward the south, to the sweeping vistas of Sea Ranch in the north, Vacasa manages a variety of gorgeous vacation rentals all along the California Coast. Head inland, and you'll find Groveland and Mammoth Lakes, beautiful vacation spots that bookend Yosemite National Park. Mammoth offers plenty of attractions in its own right, with pristine lakes and renowned ski slopes. Due north lies iconic Lake Tahoe, home to some of the nation's best boating, skiing, and hiking.

No matter where you're headed in California, you'll get the most out of your trip if you have a cozy, personal place to stay. Browse our California vacation rentals for your next Golden State getaway.
