Would be great if the house provided a couple of aquarium guest passes.

It's a good 15min walk to the Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row or to some good eats in downtown Pacific Grove. Loved the fact that we didn't have to worry about parking.

Pacific Grove is a beautiful little town. Pavel's Backerei on Forest Ave has fantastic pastries and bread but only pre-made coffee in pump thermos'.

We rented bikes at Bay Bikes for 3 days and hardly used the car during our stay.

We visited Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and il Vecchio's Italian restaurant. Both restaurants served great food and offered great service and surely made our visit fantastic. We highly recommend both spots!

Pacific Grove had so many little shops, cafes and coffee shops that we were able to explore. The antique shops were our favorite! We had the best time just wandering around. All were close to the beach, so we could spend a few hours by the water, have lunch and then shop. These were how our best days of our week long vacation were spent!

The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Sea Harvest Restaurant on Foam (kid friendly), Dennis the Menace Park (although feeding the ducks was a little intimidating).

Indeed! There is an amazing 3.6 miles loop trail from Spanish Bay parking lot that takes you all along the beaches of the 17 miles drive. Not to miss!

A family of deer visited us one evening. It was lovely watching them eat the flowers and the tree leaves. They took a little rest and then left. The baby was especially cute.
