Mo's BBQ in Tahoe city was an instant favorite. Tahoe adventure company is a good place to set up a good and memorable kayaking trip. Even though we brought our own boats. Squaw Alpine is always a good adventure especially if you can make it up to High Camp (great views). Sand Harbor is always a good spot to visit if you just want to kick it on the beach. And the all time best breakfast is at The Post Office in Carnelian Bay.

The location is perfect near kings beach and northstar, however the home itself is way to close to the freeway. It was loud if you left the windows open but you needed to because the air could not circlulate upstairs and made it very stuffy and hot. The back is unsafe to let children wonder in the back because it is so close to the freeway. Our small children just played on the upper deck only. The grounds were very unkempt especially in the back so its not for young children.

We loved the look and feel of the house. The beds were very comfortable and the view spectacular. We only discovered a great little regional park that is only a few minutes walk from the house, on the last day and we wish we would have realized how close it was earlier! Its a great place to walk the dog.

Day cruise on Boat around Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay.Just beautiful water and views and so relaxing. Very much worth the price. Also trip to Squaw Valley and take the tram to the top. I am scared of heights but that was on my bucket list and well worth it . View was just out of this world. So gland we did it.

The TART shuttle stop is right up the road, fantastic, takes you all over the north shore, and after 6:30 pm it's free. Fantastic if you are going for a few drinks and dinner at Lanza's, or Jason's, our two favorite spots.

We love North Shore and were especially happy that King's beach was only a five minute drive from the house. We also did the ropes course at Squaw, which was about a half hour away - very exhilarating! And for those who wanted to take a pass on the ropes course, the Olympic Village at Squaw offers restaurants, shops, and many more activities.

Went snow boarding at Boreal, North star is much closer but Boreal is way cheaper. It was a blizzard when we went but we still managed to have a lot of fun. Make sure you take a car with 4 wheel drive, we went in the middle of a storm and it would have been a disaster if we didn't rent a car with 4 wheel drive.
