The weather was great the first 2 days which allowed us to spend some time in the center village after a great day on the slopes. We explored the village and especially enjoyed one of the gift shops. This shop was called Kokomo gift shop. The people working there were so nice and welcoming. We were able to pick up some souvenirs and enjoy the village.

Coming to Copper in the off-season is an interesting experience. Not very many of the shops or restaurants are open, so Frisco becomes the new destination of choice. That being said, it is still a very nice retreat, and Mulligan's is great all year round.

The only detractor is that there is minimal opportunity for dining and shopping after hours. Fortunately, the drive to Frisco is not bad when the roads are clear.

In the past, I've tended to avoid the West Village due to its distance from the Bee and Resolution lifts, but I discovered that you can get to the East Village with only a single run from the top of Union Creek!

Copper Mountain offers great skiing for all abilities, with helpful ambassadors who provide guidance if you are not sure where to ski. There are also a range of activities off the mountain: we had fun snow-tubing, enjoyed the torch-lit parade & fireworks on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, good range of restaurants, for example good service and food at the Incline restaurant.
