We love the North side of Pagosa Springs. The access to the national forests and Williams Reservoir is easier from this side of town.

We always love the hot springs, we tried the new hot springs in the Overlook this time and loved them as well. We always love a dinner at Tequila's. We like to hike in the Weminuche Wilderness, and we enjoyed seeing our favorite musician, Brian Keith Waller at the Coyote Moon Bar.

Pagosa Springs, CO is our favorite place to be. Now residing in Hot Springs, AR, we were married in Pagosa 25 years ago and spend time there in September as often as we can. Trout fishing, beautiful weather and magnificent views of the mountains are the aspects we treasure most. During our 2016 stay, we were particularly impressed with the excellent food and beverage offerings we experienced at more than a half dozen local eateries and/or breweries. Not a complaint but our only question would be why we did not find Venison, Elk or Trout on any local menu as hunter's and fishermen flock to Pagosa annually; and we would love to enjoy game and fish dining options on our next visit.

We enjoyed taking the scenic WolfCreek Pass. We stopped at each stop. It was absolutely beautiful. We also made the drive to Piedra Falls and Mesa Verde. Else has a wonderful time at each one.

The hot springs were amazing, but hiking around in Wolf Creek Pass(The Continental Divide), and hiking up to the Treasure Falls(so beautiful and peaceful), was by far my favorite thing we did. Great down town shops and floating the river was a blast.

Pagosa Brewing Company has a great selection of award winning beers, and the food is also delicious. Riff Raff Brewing Company is also a great spot for some good beers and a growler fill. Of course, guests to Pagosa Springs should check out The Springs for a soak.

We spent an entire day at Pagosa Hot Springs...ahh! Refreshed and ready for the Easter Holiday. The Easter Egg Hunt near the property was well run and a pleasant experience for the children too.

We really loved the convenience of being so close to the hot springs. We bought some tubes at Walmart so we could float the river every day. That was super fun! The cabin is right next to an awesome park that was great to walk, ride bikes and see the stars at night.

Higher Grounds Coffee is very close and also visited Boulder Coffee Cafe, Cafe Colorado, and Kip's Grill. City Market is close which is great for stocking up on supplies needed when dining at the lodge.

We used the home as base camp as we traveled to the Four Corners, Mesa Verde National Park, the Royal Gorge, Denver, crossed the Great Divide four times and hit a couple of local trails in the San Juan National Forest (Treasure Falls & Piedra Falls trails). On top of that we rafted down the river, too. Overall this was a great family experience we will remember forever.
