If you own a Fort Myers Beach vacation home, you already know why tourists from all over the world flock to this stunning, tropical town. Miles upon miles of white sand beaches, aquamarine waters that stretch beyond the horizon, and exciting sport fishing are more than just great reasons to own here: they’re fantastic incentives to rent your Fort Myers Beach vacation home as well.
Whether you are new to the area or have been planning on retiring here for years, getting into the Fort Myers Beach vacation rental market has never been a better idea. However, it’s important to note that there are some stringent regulations, including a 7-night minimum stay. Fees on Fort Meyers Beach vacation rentals include a short-term rental registration fee for each unit you’ll rent (a $100 one-time fee and $50 every year after). Guests are charged a 6.5 percent Florida sales tax, and 5 percent tourist tax when they book. Additionally, Southwest Florida is known for its restrictive gated communities and HOAs. Short-term rental properties—condos specifically—may have a 30-day minimum rental period. Some HOAs may also require your guests to fill out an application for approval of your short-term booking, which may take up to 30 days to review.
It’s a lot to keep track of, but we’re here to help. Work with us and get access to a local team of Fort Myers Beach vacation rental experts. Our housekeeping, operations, and maintenance staff all live and work in the area, so we’re close-by when help is needed and can respond to guest-related emergencies 24/7.
Beyond the stellar support of your local team, we market your home internationally on top platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com. All our listings include professional photography, 3D home tours, and clear amenities breakdowns so your guests can easily plan their trips. Shoulder season is no problem for us either: with our dynamic technology, your home’s nightly rate automatically adapts to local events and seasonal changes, keeping it booked longer.
