So, how much does it cost to rent your vacation home in Naples? Vacation rentals in Naples are subject to a 7 percent State Sales Use Tax and 5 percent Tourist Development Tax. Naples restricts short-term rentals from operating in residential zones and requires a Conditional Use hearing in the few zones that do allow STRs. If you are in a gated community or an association, they may also charge a fee for rentals. Every Homeowner or Condominium Association will have its own set of rental restrictions. These can vary from a 7-night minimum up to a 90-day minimum stay, sometimes with a limit on the total number of rentals in a calendar year.
