Treylor Park right down the street is an AMAZING restaurant. Grab a drink and a bite to eat on their outdoor patio under their string lights. I highly recommend their waffle fry nachos or their chicken and pancake tacos. Jazz'd Tapas Bar and Restaurant also has incredible food. Its a fancier restaurant, tapas style so smaller portions but everything on the menu that we tried was delicious. Also the martini's are AMAZING. In terms of bars, The Alley Cat Lounge was a very fun, underground speak-easy. Rocks on the Roof was a really fun rooftop bar as well.

There is a Kroger grocery store 1 1/2 blocks away from the apartment, which is very convenient. Try Walls BBQ, the best in town. Take the Savannah Taste Experience Food Tour for a culinary walking tour through some of Savannah's best town squares. The River Street Sweets Candy Store has amazing pralines. Chocolat by Adam Turoni has the best spicy chocolate truffles. For a Kentucky Derby worthy hat, visit Gina's Beauty on Broughton Street.

Olde Town Trolley Hop On Hop Off Tour was definitely convenient. Six Pence Pub/Restaurant, Pink House(Basement seating awesome) definite must see/go to. J.Christopher's for breakfast very good. Henry's had decent Breakfast Buffet. We stayed 2 nights. 3-4 nights would have been better.

The Paris Market Cafe was a favorite of ours as well as The Ordinary Bar and Go Fish. All were on the street of the townhome which is beautiful and safe. The alley behind the townhome however turns into a ghetto at night.

We were totally impressed with our prearranged tour of St. John the Baptist Cathedral and the bonus of happening upon a concert presented by the chorus from Notre Dame University. We loved being able to walk everywhere and enjoy the beautiful architecture and lovely parks. The Old Savannah trolley tour was informative and entertaining as was our tour of the Owens-Thomas House. We had a great lunch at the Olde Pink House (3 of us agreed they have the best calamari anywhere) and spent a lot of time taking in all the exhibits at the Telfair Museum. A perfect place for a girls' getaway weekend.

The SCAD Museum of Art is new. It is in a very interesting space, and we enjoyed the broad, modern collection of work there. Admission is reasonable. We discovered the Savannah Fresh Catch seafood take-out within walking distance and a cool Chinese market equally close. We enjoyed Tybee at sunset and CoCo's Sunset Grille.

Local 11 ten is just a few blocks away and wonderful food, they have a great upstairs open air bar area. Walk through the park, day or night it's gorgeous. One of the best things we did was bought a walking guide book near water front and after dinner walked through parks on ball street. Beautiful and peaceful at night. I would not go alone at night. We also liked the ghost tour we took with one of the trolley companies. And there are free ferry rides on the water front every 20-30 minutes.
