We mostly stayed at the house other than to go to Silverwood. We did shop a little bit at the local grocery store. Selection is limited and prices higher. However, it was worth the time savings for me.

Sandpoint, City Beach and the Sandpoint the city are wonderful, should let folks know that if they want beach access that's the best option and it's a 30 minute drive.

Close to Silverwood and the state park - a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas.

You are only about 25 minutes to Sandpoint and 10 minutes to Silverwood. Very good location.

The lake is pristine. The town is quaint and close to many attractions if you have any desire to leave the lake.

We visited the Brigg Museum while there. We found it while driving around the area.We were traveling with a retired Master Chief and his wife and he had never heard of this place. It would be a nice place to take your family there is a lot of history there.

We did not try any of the restaurants or the coffeehouse (though we heard good things about it). I understand that if you want to know more about the interesting history of the area, Ralph's Coffeehouse is the place to go. Each night at dusk, listen for a "boom" and then taps being played--a local tradition. We bought ice cream for root beer floats at the mom and pop store---very friendly. As a matter of fact, this is the friendliest place I've ever vacationed!
