We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming summer cottage in Truro, Massachusetts, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene pondside setting and the beautifully designed interior. The kitchen was a standout feature of this cottage. It was spacious, well-equipped, and a joy to cook in. Whether you're a culinary enthusiast or simply looking to whip up a quick meal, the kitchen's modern amenities and open layout made it a breeze. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of Cape Cod adventures. The view from the bedroom windows, overlooking the pond, was a picture-perfect way to wake up each morning. The proximity to the pond was a highlight. We spent many hours kayaking, paddleboarding, and simply relaxing by the water. The sunsets over the pond were truly magical. The cottage's location in Truro allowed for easy access to the Cape's beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and local attractions. Whether you're a beach bum or a nature lover, there's something for everyone in the area. Additionally, Vacasa were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. In summary, this Cape Cod summer cottage is a gem in Truro, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and natural beauty. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this delightful retreat. Highly recommended!

Very neat and clean house in a wonderful cozy location and close to all restaurants, parks and the ocean. The house has everything you need for living away from home. My wife was especially pleased with the well equipped kitchen. The house can easily be rated for the 5 stars.

Native Americans called the town Payomet, fishing off its picturesque shores for many generations. The Pilgrims landed here in 1620, finding plentiful fresh water and maize. The town was finally incorporated in 1709, becoming a shipbuilding center for a short time but thrived once farmers began cultivating crops such as asparagus and turnips. The railroad, built after the Civil War, brought summer tourists from Boston and they have never stopped returning since. Today, Truro remains a sleepy town most of the year but bursts at the seams come summer. You'll love it, too, thanks to our Truro vacation cottages.

Truro Beaches

Truro is all about the beach and with it occupying a bit of the Cape Cod National Seashore, you're never far from captivating dunes and crystal clear water. Several beaches lie within the confines of town. Ballston Beach rates highly for its decent waves and accessibility by bike. Corn Hill Beach is a family-friendly bay refuge with plentiful parking, gorgeous views, and warm water. Fisher Beach features calm waters and lots of space. Expert kayakers flock to Great Hollow Beach. The relative isolation of Longnook Beach makes it appealing to locals. Fish to your heart's content at cozy Pond Village Beach or enjoy quiet solitude at Ryder Beach.
