Timberline lodge was a definite stop anyone should make. Huckleberry Inn has an amazing breakfast. Mt. Hood Brewery has excellent beer, but horrible food. We loved the drive up to Mt Hood and did cosmic tubing at night at Skibowl. It was empty and we were the only ones there and ended up eating dinner at Skibowl after we finished at 9:30pm.the service was awesome and my whole family enjoyed it! It snowed the whole time while we were there so it made it a beautiful vacation.
I enjoyed Mt Hood Meadows over Timberline. Did t feel Timberline was very accommodating in regards to lessons. They were full and that was that, nothing to try to see if they could help us out. Meadows on the other hand be t over backwards to fit my family on as well as adjusted around family memo era who came late. All in all, I was thoroughly pleased with Meafows and would go back there in a heartbeat over Timberline. Plus they have more runs and variety over Timberline, which is overpriced for what you get there.

Proximity to Mt. Hood Meadows was our reason for booking the property and it was quite convenient - only a 15 minute drive.

This location is just 20" away from awesome skiing and snowboarding @ Mt. Hood Meadows. It is also right next to Ski Bowl, but we didn't go there this time since we had a good deal on our ski package with Vacasa rentals. Ask about the $99 3 day lift deal and the $99 3 day learn to ski package which included lift ticket, equipment rental, and three 2 hour lessons .
