There is an 8.99 percent City of Sisters Transient Room Tax. If the home is outside the city limits of Sisters, guests pay the Deschutes County Transient Room Tax of 8 percent instead. The guest-facing State Transient Lodging Tax is 1.8 percent as of July 1, 2016, but will be reduced to 1.5 percent by July 1, 2020.
