Jupiter Bowl was fun for an evening after bowling. The shopping center just down the road (maybe 1/4 mile?) was convenient for groceries, restaurants, bowling and more. The Canyons maybe 1 mile and Park City base about 5 miles.

Strange that three days after a foot of snow, Park City was well groomed, good snow. Canyons on same day was frozen and loose granular. A very poor grooming job there over virtually the entire mountain. Good that the gondola was there to get out of the Canyons.

The Town Center lift was the easy access to the hill. Just take the bus by the library on 12th Ave to the over head bridge. It takes you to the top for the rest of the mountain. It is also the easy way home. I went to the Park City Village one day but is was a longer walk. The two restaurants I went for great dining was the Butcher Chop House by the Town Center Lift. The other was 350 Restaurant on Main Street. Both were excellent. The venison at the 350 was perfect for new adventures. The sauna and hot tub in the unit was a big hit. No BBQ was the only missing item. No deal breaker but I have an electric BBQ that is used in Hawaii when propane becomes an issue. The dryer in the unit had the only problem. The lint basket needs to be turned the right direction for the door to close. Maybe a note on the door would help. It was addressed immediately. The internet was 100%. Thanks for the great vacation. Down Hill Racer.....

If you are coming over the holidays, make sure you make dinner reservations as early as possible. The restaurants were very busy. Another option would be to visit the restaurant around 4pm, put your name on their wait list and then come back for dinner.

Outlet stores, Walmart, Smiths Market, and lots of other shopping are within a mile or so. Loco Lizard is good for Mexican food and Szechuan Chinese Kitchen is good for Chinese food. These restaurants are side by side and also within a mile and a half of the townhouse. Several other restaurants are close by.

Our ski rentals from Breeze's Newpark location were convenient, quick, and reasonable.

The location is perfect if you have a rental car. My wife loves Starbucks and that is only a 2 min drive from Bear Hollow. That same plaza is awesome because it has tons of restaurants and two major grocery stores one being a Whole Foods. Across the street there is a Walmart, Mc Donald's and other stores. If you go about 3 1/2 miles from Bear Hollow there is a great outlet mall to include a Nike, Columbia, North Face, Marshals, Express and more. We loved a Tex-Mex restaurant named Billy Blancos just down the street from the Tangler outlet mall. The ski resort are easy and quick to get to. Our family really enjoyed having dinner at the St Regis resort after taking the funicular up to the J&G grill.

Because is was hot when we were there (March 5, 2016) the snow was not that great in deer valley. Because of the heat, it was raining on our 2nd ski day. We were forced to search for snow. Alta ski resort was the only place it was snowing. Alta is surrounded on all sides by mountains. The snow there was awesome, no snowboards. Just an all around great experience and our favorite of the two by far!

We loved Gorgonza tubing park and ALL of deer valley. We suggest Ruth's Chris for a magnificent beef filet. The Blind Dog restaurant was amazing.

We also ate at a Thai Restaurant on or around Main Street . Food was OK. Tables too small and they put too many tables into a small space. It was complete chaos! However, the other side of the establishment was wide open and seemed to cater to the Asian crowd.
I will say the ice water service was amazing! Might have been the best thing I could say about this dining experience? This place even charged for white rice, which should be included with a curry dish. Don't go.

The home had amazing views and was very well stocked. Kids lived the sleds. Bicycles were hanging, in garage. I love that the area recycles the waste.

We rented jet skis for use in Jordanelle State Park. Definitely a lot of fun, but be aware that the "beaches" are gravel and brush, so not much fun for playing on/walking barefoot.

Our favorite ski mountain is and always has been Deer Valley, we also liked Brighton. If anyone looking for a ski instructor: Lenny Bernstein is the BEST - have used him for years; his cell phone is (801) 440-9041. We highly recommend a lesson for new and also for those who don't ski regularly.
