Taxes and fees vary by market. Washington State taxes that vacation rental owners should be aware of are a 6.5 percent sales tax, a 2.1 percent King County Sales Non-RTA (Regional Transit Authority) Tax, and a 0.1 percent City of Seattle Tax that is yet to be determined.
