Where is José Santos Guardiola?
José Santos Guardiola makes up the eastern side of the frequently visited island of Roatán,
which lies off the coast of Honduras in the Caribbean Sea. The luxurious Parrot Tree Resort
sits on the municipality's western edge.
Things to Do in José Santos Guardiola
José Santos Guardiola is far less developed and crowded than Roatán's bustling western side, which results in a more tranquil vacation experience. Nonetheless, there are numerous towns, restaurants, and attractions to discover.
Oakridge is a small village on the southern coast of José Santos Guardiola, composed of stilted homes built over crystal clear waters. Rent a dory boat and paddle through untouched terrain through surrounding mangroves.
Afterwards, catch a boat ride to Hole in the Wall in Jonesville. Savor delicious food and potent drinks in an ultra-casual atmosphere in a secluded, picturesque setting.
On the north coast, the scenic beach town of Punta Gorda also offers excellent cuisine and stunning views, as well as nature parks, preserves, and sanctuaries. Take a boat tour or do some fishing or snorkeling.
Head to La Sirena restaurant in Camp Bay, and revel in delicious food in another secluded setting. Be sure to try their world-famous rum punch!
Even if you're staying in one of our Roatán vacation homes on the west side, with its warm sandy beaches and still waters,
make some time to check out the east side of the island and explore beautiful José Santos Guardiola.
