About Montuïri
Many of the tourists who visit gorgeous Mallorca focus only on the coasts, from resort towns like Alcúdia and Palmanova to more historic destinations like Ca'n Picafort. Such trips let you see only a fraction of what the Balearic Islands truly have to offer. If you want to see the rolling hills and pastoral setting that defines the center of the isle, there are few better ways than renting one of our vacation rentals in Montuïri.

Peace and Quiet in Montuïri

Located in the region of Pla de Mallorca, Montuïri surrounds you with tranquil surroundings, like meadows and hills. The town itself is built on the side of a hill, letting you enjoy lovely views right from your vacation home. These surroundings go well with the humble atmosphere of the town, which offers restaurants like Mallorca Verda and bars like S'hostal and los Arcos. Don't forget to do some sightseeing - you're in the perfect place to enjoy Mallorquin windmills like Moli D'en Nofre. Have a fun day out before heading home to enjoy the peace and quiet you can only get deep in the countryside.

History and Culture on Mallorca

Drive less than five miles to walk the cobblestone streets of Sant Joan, marvel at the flawless Santuari de Consolació monument, and take a tour through the Parroquia de San Juan Bautista church. If you're lucky, you might catch one of the numerous festivals that take place here every summer.

And don't forget about the historic ruins near C'an Picafort! This town is the best place to plan and start a trip to all the incredible ruins and archeological sites that lie in this part of the island. On top of that, it provides more seaside fun with excellent beaches and popular tourist attractions to keep everyone in your group entertained.

Traveling the Width of Mallorca

Despite being nestled so deeply in the island's countryside, Montuïri is a great home base for exploring both the eastern and western coasts of the island. The Ma-15 highway runs right next to the village, providing a quick and easy route across the entire island. Head westward to spend the day in Palma, the island's bustling capital. From soft, sandy beaches to old Moorish castles to modern-day museums and aquariums, you have plenty of sights and sounds to marvel at during your visit - and a quick, easy way back to your vacation home thanks to the road.

Rest up with a good night's sleep and prepare to explore the rest of the island tomorrow. A whole different experience awaits in resort destinations like Palmanova to the east. White sandy beaches, warm, gentle waves, and a cool drink make for a peaceful afternoon on the shore. Don't worry if you'd like more adventure - surfing, parasailing, boating, and more are all available in the shimmering blue waters near town.

Between the gorgeous countryside, rural atmosphere, and small-town sights, a visit to one of our vacation rentals in Montuïri will make your next Spanish vacation soothing and relaxing.
