About Costa Adeje
Attractions

There's nowhere else like Costa Adeje! This bustling resort area on Tenerife - the largest island in Spain's exotic archipelago, the Canary Islands - is a delight to all who visit. Whether you're here for golf, the shining beaches, world-class shopping, or just some fun in the sun, you'll be glad you picked one of our Costa Adeje vacation homes for the ultimate vacation experience.

Beaches in Costa Adeje

The gorgeous Playa del Duque has crystal clear waters and golden sand, perfect for an afternoon in the sun and waves. Take leisurely walks along the promenade, stopping from time to time for a drink or a plate of tapas at one of many excellent cafés and restaurants. You might check out the golden beaches of Playa de las Américas, just a couple miles south.

Spend some time sailing, and see if you can catch something for supper—our Costa Adeje vacation rentals have kitchens where you can prepare your freshly caught fish! If that's not really your thing, you may prefer to try windsurfing or parasailing. If you want to try jet-skiing somewhere a little less crowded, head to Playa Fanabe, a beach with calmer waters, ideal for groups with smaller children.

Activities in Costa Adeje

With a 27-hole championship course, Golf Costa Adeje is a favorite among tourists. There are excellent instructors if you're excited for some lessons, or you could plan your stay around one of the regular open tournaments that take place here. The last nine-hole stretch, called Los Lagos, has stunning ocean views, and though the holes are shorter, they are also more technical.

Nature lovers should jump on the opportunity to visit the special nature reserve, Barranco del Infierno. This pristine area showcases beautiful flora, fauna, and waterfalls, which only 300 visitors per day can experience because of preservation laws. If you're looking for more extreme activities, pay a visit to Tenerife's windsurfing and kiteboarding capital, El Médano.

If you've got kids along, they'll want entertainment, as well. Play go-karts or ten-pin bowling at Miki Park in the Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque shopping center. The play area will keep the kids busy for hours—there's even a ball pit! On warmer days, you may prefer Aqualand, a water park with slides, chutes, dolphin shows, and much more. Tire out the kids with a day of activities, and then enjoy an evening of peace and quiet in your rental home.

Shopping and Dining in Costa Adeje

The Centro Comercial Plaza del Duque shopping center has been recognized for the past two years by TripAdvisor for its exemplary service. If you're looking for designer clothes or fine jewelry, this is the place to go! It's also a great place for a spa day. Settle fully into a relaxing experience with hairdressers, manicurists, and other beauty specialists, and stay glowing the rest of your stay.

You can find whatever type of food you're excited about in Costa Adeje. Lovers of Thai food will adore Yim Siam Thai Food, while Micky O'Malley's has delicious fish and chips. For Spanish cuisine, Restaurante Sebastian is extremely popular. After dinner, be sure to check out the local nightlife - Casablanca Piano Bar has cocktails and lovely music, or you can sing karaoke at Moonlight Bar. Fans of dancing? You'll want to head to Achaman Discopub where you can get down all night long!

There's something for everyone to enjoy at this luxurious resort town in the Canary Islands. For your next trip, enjoy the privacy of your own vacation rental and the myriad activities of this active vacation spot on the island of Tenerife!
