This quaint home away from home enjoys a fantastic location three blocks away from a grocery store with locally grown produce, coffee shop, sushi restaurant, pizza joint, wine shop, butcher and fish shop, tennis courts, public pool, running track, playground, and the Berkeley Horticultural Nursery. You are also within a half mile of the North Berkeley BART Station, the beautiful North Berkeley Branch Library, and the famed Gourmet Ghetto, home of Alice Waters' award-winning restaurant, Chez Panisse. A fun fact about this neighborhood is that David Lance Goines lived at the end of the block - he was the Berkeley printmaker whose art nouveau style influenced the style and culture of the Bay Area and beyond during the late 60s and 70s and still defines the look of the city of Berkeley in many ways. There are a few of his prints up around the house in his honor.

Upstairs there are four rooms: three bedrooms, one of which can alternately be set up as an office with a couch and motorized, adjustable standing desk, and another bonus sunroom/office with a large desk and cozy reading nook.
