Condo itself was nice. Torn window blinds and issues with the TVs would be my only complaints. Building definitely needs repairs and to be painted. Location was quiet and super close to the beach.

NICE CONDO, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH VACASA. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and nice, so unfortunately I can’t fault the property for our experience. However, I strongly recommend avoiding Vacasa when booking, because their handling of an issue during our stay was very disappointing. We were a group of six, including four children, and one of the main reasons we chose this condo was because of the pool. The listing and booking information indicated that pool wristbands would be provided in the condo when we arrived. When we got there, there was only one wristband for the six of us, meaning we could not use the pool as promised. I contacted Vacasa five separate times throughout our trip by phone, text, and email. Every time, I was told that the additional wristbands would be provided as soon as possible. Despite repeatedly following up, nothing was ever delivered. Eventually, I was told they had no estimate whatsoever for when we would receive them. I even offered to pick the wristbands up myself if there was somewhere I could go to get them, but I was told that wasn’t an option either. I also contacted the actual owner of the condo. Their contact information was provided inside the condo along with a note saying we could contact them anytime with questions or concerns. Unfortunately, the owner simply directed me back to Vacasa. We never once had access to the pool during our entire vacation. That is upsetting because we specifically chose this property in large part because of the pool for our four children. They were looking forward to swimming and were so disappointed. What bothers me most is not simply that there was an issue with the wristbands. Things can go wrong during a vacation. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In this case, our concerns were repeatedly acknowledged but never actually resolved. We paid for a property with amenities that were advertised and promised, yet Vacasa failed to provide access to them and could not even give us a reasonable timeframe for when the issue would be fixed. The condo itself was great. Vacasa’s customer service was not. If access to the amenities you are paying for matters to you, I would seriously reconsider booking through Vacasa. Our family paid for an experience that included access to a pool, and despite five separate attempts to get help, we were never given the access we needed.
