Recent Northern Michigan guest reviews

We liked how spacious it was and how beautiful the view was.

Decor, coziness, and convenience are very nice. The view of the North and South Manitou islands and proximity to the shore were spectacular!

I took my 12 year old son here for his birthday. It was the PERFECT location! It’s a very very short walk to the beach and to town. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. The high ceilings with sunlights made the house bright and open. The neighbors are very friendly and gave advice on places to see. We visited during the off season but still had so many things to do and see. I was contacted by text messages to be sure our stay was going well, which was thoughtful and appreciated. It was comforting to know that help was available if we needed it. I can’t say enough good about this house and the location. We hope to stay again!

Get back to nature in the woods of Northern Michigan—where you can take your pick of relaxation by the lake, or embracing the fresh air roaming through the state forests. Of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the area’s famous cherry picking orchards, lighthouses, and natural springs that only add to the fun. Take it slow in the small-town charm or gear up for an outdoor adventure.

Northern Michigan stretches the the furthest reach of its upper peninsula, encompassing Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, three state forests, and at least 10 lighthouses along its shoreline. In between, you’ll find perfect travel spots like the famous Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater in Honor and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore’s panomric views.
