Beautiful rustic cabin secluded with a river stream out front to listen to as you fall asleep or just for enjoyment.
Comfy beds. Comfy sitting areas by both fireplaces.
If it’s a hot day, it’s unlikely that the two small AC units will cool the cabin very sufficiently so an upgraded AC could definitely be a nice upgrade.
If it’s cold outside you’re going to want to keep both fireplaces going, thankfully they stocked us up with plenty of firewood.
The front door lock is extremely finicky and annoying to open, highly suggest changing that out.
Could have used more toilet paper for an 8 day stay but wasn’t much trouble to go buy some more while we went into town.
Place was very clean besides a few dishes and the air fryer.
The last mile making it to the cabin was a little rough, had to take it really slow with our Honda accord and avoid a few bumps but it wasn’t that bad. Would probably not have made it with snow or ice, though. We went in April with no snow. Would have rented an SUV if it was winter.
It’s about 50 minutes from Asheville so not super close but not super far. It’s very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was awesome.
Pool table. Ping pong table. Fireplaces. Screened in porch. Beautiful riverside with picnic tables. The rustic wood and art… all in all we loved this cabin and highly recommend it.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

This property is beautiful! The cabins are fantastic with very comfortable beds and nice furnishings. We enjoyed having the crystal clear river right out front and enjoyed some fly fishing for wild trout right out front with opportunities to wade up and down the river. In warmer parts of the year, there are some great swimming holes in the river.
There are TONS of other places to fly fish, hike and explore nearby including the Pisgah National Forest, Great Smokey Mountain National Park (with Elk viewing), the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as the great towns of Waynesville, Canton, Brevard, and of course Asheville.
100% would stay again. Great value for the size of the property. Already considering planning another family/friends trip and/or perhaps a group of fly fisherman.
