This house was perfect for our group, clean, great location & hot tub! Would definitely recommended it!
Stayed at this venue for a weekend wedding in Chelan. Running back and forth for wedding preparations was pretty easy as the house was located 15 miles and 22 mins from our venue on the north shore. The ample sleeping situation was ideal and the property was clean and well-maintained. As per many other reviews we were unable to connect to the Sonos sound system or get it to work even after downloading the app and spending an inordinate amount of time with it. There were no comprehensive instructions. Our biggest complaint was the lack of wi-fi during 90% of our stay. When you're putting on a wedding 15 miles away, communication and organization are critical and the lack of wi-fi was quite an inconvenience. At first we learned it was a local outage by the provider. But even after the provider was back online our system was still down. A tech eventually arrived for repair but not until our 2nd day, the day of the event. I feel like this was a one time glitch but thought it best to document here in case another patron has similar problems. The only other suggestion I would make (as a fellow VRBO provider) is to supply some small fruit/dessert bowls. Otherwise we were VERY pleased with this VRBO and would patronize again.
The location to Chelan, Wenatchee and Leavenworth was great - we spent a full day in Leavenworth on Christmas Eve and it wasn't too long a trip to get "home" after a long day in the cold. The hot tub, jetted tub in the master bath, and the gas fireplace were highlights for us, along with thick, soft carpeting throughout most of the house. The price was fair, too, given the location and amenities. It was well stocked with linens, dvds, games, cards, books, dishes, cookware, and even seasonings and baking supplies. It has all the necessities that you might forget - griddle, wine opener, ice cream scoops, pitchers, BBQ supplies, etc. It boasts a big, side-by-side fridge with water and ice in the door.
The house could really use some updating - it's filled with fragile, rickety furnishings such as antique dressers and a wooden rocking chair that no one dared sit in. Some sturdy furniture would really give it a face lift. The beds are all pretty firm, and my family are spoiled with nice beds at home, so that was one let down for us.
We felt very comfortable watching movies, playing games (there is a set up for video game systems!) However, we couldn't get the Sonos systems that were throughout the house to work with any of our smart phones, even after reading the guide and Googling how to troubleshoot. Might have just been our unfamiliarity with this system, though.
Would we stay here again? YES! I highly recommend this house to anyone.
The house was great for a larger party (there were 7 of us). It was quiet and I loved how it had a fenced in yard(I had 2 dogs).
There are only two (small) things: I was charged for my second dog which was not discussed beforehand. Per the description, dogs were included with no added costs but when I got the final agreement, it was an extra cost. It wasn’t only $23/dog which was fine; I just wish it had been disclosed sooner.
The other issue was that we couldn’t get the sonos sound speaker to work for us. I emailed 3 times and never heard back. If we didn’t have a computer, we wouldn’t have been able to listen to music. We could have called the number but it wasn’t a big enough deal to do so. I would just plan on having another source for speakers just in case.
Overall, it was a really great weeekend with a great place to stay!
We enjoyed staying in this home. It was clean. And cozy. And big enough for 2 families. And all at a amazing price.! Would stay here again! 😁
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very comfortable. It was perfect for our dogs, really nice backyard. The community was very friendly and enjoyed the park and facilities. We would stay in the house again. It was a home away from home😊
Comfortable family home. Boys (11 and 13) loved the pool table, clubhouse/swimming pool and yard. House was spotless but needs some maintenance and updating. Property manager responded quickly to cracked floor titles around the pool table (cut foot), broken shower and overgrown lawn. Kitchen equipment needs restocking but adequate-ish, furniture looks to be from an elderly person's house clearance and the beds are a bit lumpy. Hot tub, grill, hammock and deck were lovely for the grown ups. About 25min drive to Chelan.
We were in the area for a baseball tournament which ended up getting rained out the first day. It was great to have some indoor activities to do while we waited for the rain to pass. The pool table was a hit, lots of board and card games and when we did see the sunshine we hopped in the hot tub! The home was very clean and had all the items we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful home!
We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was bright and clean and so comfortable that you felt like you were at your own vacation home! It was so well stocked with everything that you would need to cook with. Our family loved playing pool, sitting in the HOT hot tub and sledding down the hill near the clubhouse. We would highly recommend this home and vacasa! It was our first time using Vasasa and it was a very positive and simple experience. It was amazing! And we will be back!
Everything was great and enjoyable family time
The home was very beautiful and clean. We had a great time
The home was ok. The entry to the home is up the stairs and around the back of the house. It makes it a little difficult bringing things up and down. The private hot tub was nice. Small TV. Bedrooms have older decor, older beds, etc. Kitchen was spacious. Not a whole lot of activities in Orondo. Nice for viewing the stairs. Love the gas bbq grill.
This is a spacious beautiful home. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The fenced yard was a plus with grandkids and dogs.
