This is our second time staying at the Surfside cottage (as we started calling it) and it did not disappoint. This place is truly heaven on earth. We will be back for a third trip VERY soon! :)

Perfect location with easy drives to Portland and Higgins Beach, we loved the neighborhood and the view from the house.

Surfside is the ideal vacation spot in Maine, one of our favorite places to go. The house is small but comfortable, has most everything you need. The paintings of Portland were wonderful, thank you for sharing them. The ocean view is gorgeous, so relaxing to listen to the waves, put us to sleep at night. Great place and we would definitely go back there.

This small cottage has big impact. It was well stocked with everything our family of four could want. Beach chairs, games, full kitchen full of utensils, dishes, pots and pans, fire pit, and of course a magnificent view. You can hear waves crashing all day and night and while neighboring yards are close by we were not disturbed by other families at all. The week we were there was very mild so we didn't even need the fans provided( the house does not have air conditioning). I would advise bringing an extension cord however. The house is older and doesn't have any light switches so most outlets are in use for lighting and electronic devices. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of our life at home and we were able to accomplish that. It isnt the ritz, it is a bit cluttered and the furniture is eclectic. It was however the perfect place to unwind and we would definitely recommend it.

This was our second stay at Surfside, and it was as delightful as our first. The tidy little two-bedroom abode is roomy, comfortably furnished, and thoughtfully equipped. There's an attractive deck off the kitchen-dining area and into the woodsy backyard. But the front is the real dazzler, with stunning views of the dramatic Atlantic beyond the rolling green lawn. For our purposes (visiting family nearby), the off-the-beaten-path location was perfect. We'd love to return!
