Modern condo close to base area, pool/hot tub access, great view of the mountain

Get ready for the ultimate mountain adventure in this Mt. Crested Butte vacation rental just a half mile away from the base of the mountain - walk or shuttle, it's up to you! With shared hot tub and pool access, a shared fitness and game room, plus spectacular views of Mt. Crested Butte from your balcony, this two-bedroom vacation rental is a great getaway for a group of up to four guests.

Getting to the slopes has never been easier: Put your gear on and walk less than half a mile to the base of Red Lady and Silver Queen Express Lifts. If you have little ones who can't make the walk with their gear, or if your legs are sore after a day of snow chasing, grab the free shuttle that drops you off right at the front door! You'll find plenty of dining and shopping opportunities at the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, but if you need a change of pace, grab the shuttle for a 20-minute ride to Crested Butte proper (or 10 minutes by car).

Please note this is a third-floor condo and there is no elevator. However, the views are magnificent from the third floor!

This mountain lodge-style home is one part elegant, one part retro. Enjoy the black wood accents, a decorative stone hearth, and furnishings that give this condo its modern vibe. The living room is set up for socializing with a burgundy suede sofa and two swoop-back, black leather chairs. Pull out a board game to play on the floor or at the coffee table, or quietly ready books, either paperback or on your Kindle via WiFi.

The open floor plan makes it easy for guests sitting on the sofa to interact with anyone at the four-top dining table, or cooks in the full service kitchen. Vintage ski style is greatly celebrated in the black and white appliances complementing the red cabinetry. After taking meals either inside or out on the deck in the shadow of Mt. Crested Butte, guests can pile their dishes into the dishwasher without another thought.

This is a great home for a couples' bike trip in the summer, or a group of friends hitting the slopes during Spring Break. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twins. Each has its own full bathroom, plus a vanity inside the bedroom, so no one has to wait to get some mirror time in.

Enjoy the complex amenities, including a pool and a hot tub, a fitness center/game room, and shared sitting areas scattered throughout. Challenge your loved ones to a game of pool, or soak the day away in the hot tub. And when you're not skiing or riding to your hearts' content, there's always sledding and tubing, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. If it's summer, take a bike ride on the bike trail right next to the complex, or hike up Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy the wildflower displays in late summer, and the incredible sunsets and sunrises all year round.

Enjoy the mountainous terrain in style here at this Southwest Colorado vacation rental.

You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

We decided to go to Crested Butte last second despite my husband recovering from an ACL repair. He didn't ski, but my son was dying to snowboard. We were unable to get our "usual" accommodations due to our late booking, but for the price and location, this would have to work. This is a THIRD floor condo and the views were great, but there is no elevator so I do not recommend this condo for the elderly or anyone who has trouble with going up stairs. There is a small dumbwaiter in the lobby, but we found it on our own, no one offered it up. The condo was SUPER clean but the furnishings and building were somewhat outdated. Location is diagonal from the ski slopes. There is a convenient bus stop right outside the facility. The indoor pool and hot tub DEFINITELY made up for it!
For reference, we travel to CB 3 times or more a year.

Late October is the quiet time of year around Crested Butte. This was a very quiet condo which is always great. Some restaurants are closed but with a kitchen we were able to cook.

This felt like a wonderful home away from home. The master bed was super comfy, the views were great and the kitchen was very serviceable. I really liked the privacy of the twin bedroom with it's own bath that can be locked off from the other rooms if needed. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

My family stayed here comfortably. Nice big hot tub. Beautiful view.

Good location as it was easy to find. Needing updates in main areas of 3 Seasons lodge. We enjoyed the pool, but wished we had a washer and dryer in our room during our stay. Otherwise the condo was well stocked. We loved Crested Butte and would return in a heartbeat.

This is a great little condo that worked well for our family. Our children used the pool every afternoon after we returned from hiking and mountain biking. Crested Butte is wonderful, really nice people, great food and beautiful scenery. The only reason I didn't give the condo a 5-star rating is because it got pretty hot in the afternoons and was difficult to keep the condo cool even with the windows open and fans running all night. We went during the first part of July - so obviously this only applies a couple months out of the year. As mentioned by others, the layout is a little strange, (front door enters the bedroom) but for our family it wasn't a big deal since we were always coming and going together.

On the good:
Cheap, convenient to the hill and a reliable shuttle. Well stocked kitchen.

On the bad:
The hotel has some residence and some vacationers, felt a little odd. There is no elevator, so you would want to be on the first floor. The parking lot is tight, but I always managed a spot (several snowed in cars that hadn't moved in months didn't make me happy). The wi-fi is very slow, although our room had smart TV's, they won;t do much for you.

Manager response:
We apologize for the inconveniences this guest experienced and hope they still had a wonderful time!

Just as promised!

This location is perfect for easy access to the mountain, or to the free shuttle into town. CB is the best, and this condo is a great place to stay and enjoy it!

Unit was good for 3 guys on a MTB trip, hot tub and pool on site, ride to the lift and close enough to walk to restaurants, 5 minute drive from town, cool little town, bike wash, lock up inside. Dumb waiter for luggage, no elevator on site.

The condo was very clean and cozy. It had great access to the base of the mountain and was easy to find.

The front bedroom curtains are too shear for the fact that the hallway lights are on 24 hours. Odd layout for a condo. It was ok with a family of 4. If you are a foursome of adults that are coming and going with different agendas, you will be entering the master bedroom when you come into privacy. The price was fare for these inconveniences considering there is nothing that can be done about the layout.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your review with us. The owner has installed some blinds to help regulate the amount of light coming through the windows. We really appreciate your feedback!

Place was conveniently located and nice enough. Could use new pillows and darker window coverings in bedrooms. Also, cleaning fee is a bit ridiculous for the square footage.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback! Since your stay the owner has installed blinds to help darken the room up.

The accommodations were fine for the money. I was kind of loud being on Gothic Road, but traffic quieted down after 10:00. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do.

Nice condo, living room small, everything else great. Nice water preasure in showers. No AC, hot in summer. Great location right past the base of the lifts.

We had a wonderful trip to Crested Butte. We loved the room too! It was clean fully equipped for our stay. It had a wonderful view of Mt. Crested Butte. It came with two TV's that allowed us to either watch cable or connect to amazon and netflix. The board games in the closet were a wonderful addition as well.
The problems that we had were with the property. First off there is no elevator. Or at least we couldn't find one and the people at the front desk were rarely there. I have chronic neck pain and we had to carry all our things up 3 floors. For normal individuals this would be a nuisance however, for me this meant the next day I was in a lot of pain and very sore. Second, part of the reason we rented here was because of the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was under construction and the pool was NEVER open even during the listed hours or at all. This was extremely frustrating for us because that was a huge reason we chose this location. I wish we had to been warned previously.
I would still recommend this room though. Aside from those two problems we really enjoyed the room and the view and the vacasa staff was helpful when I called with questions before our trip.

The location was great!!

Great location and amenities. Key codes on doors were simple and made it easy to get in and out without worrying about keys
Brandon M. Feb 2016
Great place. It fit four people well. Short bus ride to the base of the mountain was convenient.
Susan H. Oct 2015
Loved the balcony, beds and showers. The kitchen was clean and practical. Loved the space and scenery for the price. The bedrooms and living room are smaller than it appears, so it really would only fit 1-3 people in my opinion. Be aware that the lobby, hallways, pool area and such are very old. The pool and hot tub were clean, it all just needed updated big time.( but then, you probably would not get this great price!) The condo was cute, updated and comfy-- would stay there in a heartbeat. Beware of Vacasa, they need to make sure to give you ALL the info--- including the code # for the complex door, or you will not find yourself locked out the first night. Luckily, it did not happen to us. jeesh

Excellent place to stay. I hope to stay here more often, truely and wonderful home, and blows away the hotel / motel prices.
