New listing! Stylish, riverfront, dog-friendly cabin w/ full kitchen & WiFi!

Get away from it all at Timber Creek Cabin! Enjoy creature comforts in complete seclusion at this cozy cabin while exploring over three private riverfront acres without ever leaving the property. Extensive walking trails, a spacious deck & grill, a large fire pit, a picturesque orchard, and an expansive riverfront lawn are all yours to enjoy. River, forest, and mountain views await you as well making this a dream vacation spot you won't want to miss.

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin has maintained its historic charm with original wood-beamed ceilings and an old stone fireplace, but it also has modern amenities like a new, fully equipped kitchen, modern and bright bathrooms, and full-size laundry facilities. The cabin is nestled in the forest yet offers convenient access for adventures and provides plenty of space for up to eight guests and two dogs to make wonderful memories together.

Downstairs is a cozy, open-plan living area that is ideal to enjoy on your own, or with family or a group of friends. The living room is designed with comfortable and stylish seating around the fireplace, a dining area with picture windows out to the forest and river, and a full kitchen with four bar stools. Downstairs is a river-view bedroom with a king-size memory foam bed and a large bathroom that includes a full-size washer and dryer. Upstairs are two more large bedrooms – one with a King-sized mattress and the other with a Queen-sized mattress - both with dormers facing the river and a shared bathroom. All three bedrooms have fluffy down duvets and touches that make each room unique.

Between the upstairs bedrooms is a relaxing sitting room with a large window seat - a great place to reflect and connect with gorgeous views of the river and the forest beyond. This seating converts into twin XL beds for additional sleeping space for two guests.

Designed with a slow pace in mind, our hope is that you enjoy your stay no matter the time of year - making local pour-over coffee in the morning while watching for deer wandering by, choosing the perfect record as the sun sets, or relaxing by the river under a starry sky. Pick fruit in the orchard, build a snowman in the yard, dip your toes in the river, explore the extensive walking trails, photograph the gardens in a riot of springtime blooms, or simply sit back and enjoy the view.

What's nearby:
Beyond the charm of the cabin itself, what makes this inviting mountain escape truly special is its location. Set on 3.5 riverfront acres of gardens with walking trails and an orchard, the Timber Creek property has stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest across the river, allowing for complete privacy during your stay. When you want to venture out, Stevens Pass is a quick 25-minute drive away, along with many other nearby outdoor pursuits. After an excellent day of skiing, boarding, sledding, or snowshoeing, you can return to the cabin for a homemade dinner, a roaring fire, and snow falling in the background. Take in the gorgeous autumn leaves and nearby antique stores, then head back and fall asleep to the sound of rain falling on the metal roof. In warmer months, enjoy epic mountain biking, endless miles of gorgeous hiking trails, thrilling rafting, or tranquil fishing, followed by dinner grilled out on the expansive deck and s’mores in the firepit.

Please note that because we are tucked into the valley through the pass, like almost all cabins in the area we do border Highway 2 and the historic train line. Road and train noise is apparent on the street side of the house, but in the house (thanks to new, insulated windows and river-facing bedrooms) and along the riverside of the property, the white noise from the river washes most of it away beautifully. An upside is that this makes for easy access in the winter during snowy and rainy weather.

Everything about this home is lovely. The decor is thoughtful and intentional. The kitchen well equipped, the grounds magical. We will most certainly be back!

This house is amazing! The property is so beautiful and it’s right on the river. This was a perfect getaway for my family.

The experience was beyond exceptional. The deck was beautiful. We used the grill a lot. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. There were all the utensils and spice rack for cooking. They had board games too! Great location, great decor, thank you!

Overall, we had a lovely time at the Timber Creek Cabin. I spent four days here with my husband and two year old son. We did a few awesome hikes nearby, relaxed and played games but the fire and made some great meals together. Perks: location is great, views are wonderful, great outdoor space and awesome wood burning stove. Only reason I am not giving five stars is there was quite a bit of dog hair everywhere (floors, chairs, couches, beds). Also no broom and poorly functioning vacuum which made it hard to clean up.
Manager response:
We are so glad that you and your family enjoyed your time at Timber Creek Cabin! We sincerely apologize that the dog hair from the previous guest was not cleaned up before your stay. The housekeeping team typically does an outstanding job, but apparently that got missed in the turnover process. There is a small broom and dust-pan in the kitchen, but we will re-stock the house with a new full sized broom and replace the vacuum. Thanks for letting us know and we hope to have you back very soon!

The property was amazing - a quaint fairytale cottage on the outside and a breathtaking beauty with luxe creature comforts on the inside.  Our group of 5 included skiers and non skiers alike.  Everyone raved about their stay.  The view from the panoramic window overlooking the river & mountains was stunning!  The location was within an hour’s drive of wineries, a big city, mountains, anything you could want - yet it feels remote enough that you could unplug & recharge if you want to. The train does run - but we all thought it just added to our adventure and didn’t takeaway from the enjoyment of our stay.  Can’t even imagine how beautiful the scenery looks in the other seasons!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the lovely cabin with the spectacular view of the Skykomish River from the huge dining room window. Everything is nice and newer, the beds were very comfortable and the location is convenient to Steven's Pass, less than 1/2 an hour drive. There is a train that comes by about twice a day that is faintly heard in the background, nothing annoying or loud about it. We had a relaxing, peaceful time at the cabin and would stay there again and recommend it to others.

The sunrise on the mountain view was jaw-dropping, fresh snow at 2k'. Accomodations were excellent; well supplied (except for a broom). We'd come back again in a flash if we get the chance.

The place was beautiful, quiet and perfect for a friend weekend away. The large table was wonderful for all the board games we played! My only side note is while there is plenty of room for 8 people comfortably, there is only 6 chairs for the dining room table. You can make do with use of the stools, but it’s not ideal.
It rained most of the weekend so we had beautiful dramatic views of the cloudy mountains out all the windows. We definitely loved staying here!
Manager response:
Thanks so much for your wonderful view of Timber Creek Cabin! We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the cabin and the gorgeous scenery. Also, thank you for pointing that out about the dining table. That hadn’t occurred to us, so we are glad you brought it to our attention. We pulled two more of the dining chairs from storage, so the dining area now comfortably seats 8. Thanks for letting us know and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Unforgettable town!! This cabin is very nice and cozy. We had a wonderful trip at this place. The house is located on super stunning view by the river and mountain. Very recommended to stay in this house. We would love to come back to stay this place again.

The Timber Creek cabin was a great spot to unwind and get away from hectic city life. The cabin is very well maintained and has all the comforts of home. The linens on the bed were so soft and inviting and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There wasn't anything we missed during our stay. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. We loved that we could bring our dog and she enjoyed the big backyard to roam in. The river behind the property offered a beautiful view and calm serenity while we read books and enjoyed a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. We definitely would recommend Timber Creek Cabin for a nice country getaway.

We had a group of 8 out at the cabin to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was the most perfect setting that we could have hoped for. We had seen the pictures and thought that it couldn't possibly be as beautiful in real life, but is! The kitchen is well appointed and we made great use of it. The back deck was great for lounging in the sun and looking at the river. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and play cards by the fire. The rooms were very big and the beds were comfy. The day beds were really convenient, but don't offer a lot of privacy, particularly for light sleepers. The trains do occasionally shake the house, though I was told that it wasn't as noticeable in the downstairs bedroom. Something to note if you have some light sleepers in your party. They do provide earplugs, though!
