The house was big and beautiful. But it had so many issues. The place was not cleaned properly or not at all. Mildew in coffee cups, dead bugs everywhere, dust all over the place, rusty and yellow shower heads, it didn’t even smell clean. We had issues with half the house being freezing cold and not having any hot water for about a day and a half. Had to call multiple times for a whole day until someone finally came to fix the issues. And once they had fixed things a few days later we were still having issues with the heating of the house. The WiFi basically doesn’t work here either. Over all it was extremely disappointing. Wish I could say we had a good time.
Manager response:
Hi, Karis! We are sorry to read about your disappointing experience. We do take guest feedback seriously and have been able to address your concerns. Housekeeping will be meeting our standards, and the heat is fixed. Thank you!

This was the perfect setting for a small family gathering where we could enjoy each others' company and still practice safe distancing and bask in lakeside living over a long weekend. Perfect for small weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or similar events.

We had a great time living at the Tabor house. It was extremely peaceful living at this 6000 sq ft expanse, with its lush gardens and beautiful lake views. The house was stocked with all the requirements, we did not find the need to get out of the house at all (except for some groceries). It was a perfect weekend getaway with ample space for everybody! Only complaint was 1) Water had a metallic taste to it 2) We weren't able to adjust the thermostat to a cooler temperature and 3) Wifi did not reach the entirety of the house. But overall, amazing stay and this was exactly what we needed!
Manager response:
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback and have notified the local manager of your suggestions. We hope to host you again soon!

The sunrise views are to die for! Stayed here with a group of 13 for an extended weekend getaway! We all loved the space in the house and the views from the dock!
Would definitely recommend this for your trip to VT!

On the bay, gorgeous, nature abounds, restful and wonderful. Great for families.

Only semi complaint was the lawn which was a little high and was being mowed as we tried to check out and the bugs, though being next to the lake was expected. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The house was great, the views were awesome. The actual water/lake wasn’t so great. The water was lowest it’s been in years, according to locals. We chose a lake house for the lake more than the house. We hauled 7 kayaks and a boat that we were unable to use at the rental. 2 inquiries to vacasa about docking a boat went unanswered. There were a couple boat ramps nearby so we did use boat and kayaks but had to drive when the house advertised a dock. Also info from vrbo and vacasa was different. Checkout on vrbo said 11 am, vacasa’s email a few days prior said 10 am. Vrbo had 1st dog included and 2nd dog at $20 per day. Vacasa wanted to charge $292 for 2 dogs for a week. Overall we had a great time because my family always does when we are together but it wasn’t the lake vacation we had hoped for.
Manager response:
Hi, Melinda! Thank you for your review! We apologize for the disappointments and frustrations you experienced. We will do what we can to ensure VRBO is sharing correct information. We are also working on hiring more hands to help us on the phones so we can get back to guests as quickly as possible. We hope to see you again!

We loved the accommodations and the space. The price was high, but our guests enjoyed their rooms and the property.

Very nice home plenty of space. Kitchen is a little outdated, I would not expect to get much cooking done in timely fashion. Stove and ovens are constantly running. Plenty of yard area, Dock and Porch are two highlights of the home. You have to paddle out past dock with canoe to get to clean swimmable water. We were there during high 80s and 90s temp No AC in house made it rough especially when very humid. But when Temperature drops at night house is very nice with breeze. Overall it was a pleasant experience

We found the house to be really clean extremely spacious and well suited to our needs. We lacked for nothing as the house was well stocked. My only complaint would be that the steps and the wheelchair access was not shoveled it was covered in ice and snow. We have a family member in a wheelchair. Getting her in and out of the house was a challenge but we managed. Can't wait to stay there again.
