What a wonderful stay! The layout of the home was exceptional and the home was well appointed with all the items you may need while staying. The trail down to the river was well taken care and easy to use.
The only downfall was that both the hide-a-beds in the rec room are in need of replacing, so a couple kiddos slept on them as a couch rather than a bed.
Overall, we loved our time there and hope to do it again next year.
Josh B.Jun 2019
Everything was as described! Clean, beautiful home. Great location.
Cameron W.Jun 2019
Loved the views, the giant kitchen, the basketball court, and access to the water.
Matthew R.May 2019
The house was great for a place to stay and relax during a weekend golf outing. There were plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms, and lots of room, not to mention the massive kitchen island that was great for prepping meals. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

our whole time was beautiful. celebrated with family and friends. the house had everything you needed for a cozy weekend get away. plenty of rooms and what I loved most was the many bathrooms that's a plus. will do it again!!!! loved the lake at the end of the lawn.
Ben K.Nov 2018
Overall spaciousness of the house was perfect. That island on the kitchen was no joke either. We loved having a second living space upstairs for the kids to play. Very clean and bright. River access was amazing and we were frequented by some deer! Loved the sport court as well.
Andrew C.Oct 2018
Great home with amazing views. The home is large enough to accommodate the whole family. The kids always have a great time here in the bonus room or in the yard and sport court. We have been three years in a row, and plan on going next year as well. It is near Chelan parks and shopping, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful house, beautiful property. Very relaxing.

The outside space was perfect and well maintained. The living room and kitchen were perfect for gatherings.
Reed J.Jul 2018
My group had a great time at this cabin. Big, clean space that could accommodate more people then were in my party. Backyard was large and awesome. We had full whiffle ball games in the yard. There is one major downside to this rental, the neighbors. The neighbor directly next door is insane. He threaten to call the police because our basketball went over his fence (the basketball court is lined with the small fence to his yard). He forced Daniel, the very nice Vacasa property manager, to come out and put up giant signs that threatens prosecution and eviction if anything crosses the fence. He wasn't even at the property when we were staying but has multiple cameras that even look into the yard of the rental.
I would not recommend staying here if you plan to use the lawn or sport court for any sort of games or activities due to the neighbor. The neighbors two lots down would just stare at us and when we waved they would just continue to stare. Kind of creepy.
The river was very cold but refreshing in hot weather. Current can be pretty strong.
The neighbor does greatly value their privacy and does not tolerate trespassing. If guests have any need to enter his property (such as retrieving a ball), we ask they please ask politely instead of taking care of it themselves. He does have a camera on his property for safety purposes. Thank you!

Beautiful clean home with plenty of room. We loved the basketball court, river access, large grassy back yard and views. We had a wonderful vacation and wish we could have stayed longer!
Craig H.Apr 2018
Open floor plan with a great view of the river. Well appointed, and very comfortable. Easily accommodates eight for a golf weekend.
Kristen W.Apr 2018
The open floor plan was exactly what we wanted for our family gathering! All the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had more cooking items then I expected! We loved it!

We had a phenomenal time!

Our second stay at this home and it was great. Room for the entire family and will likely be back next year.
Bruce C.Sep 2017
This place was clean, well-appointed and suitable for our group meeting. The agency and owners were very accessible and responsive to any of our questions. We plan to be back for a third time next year!
Paulette A.Sep 2017
Clean, contemporary space for a large crowd of 12-14
Plenty of bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen
Would definitely stay again
We are picky about cleanliness and could not find fault as all was perfection.
Outdoor space and the private swim beach were wonderful. There is no fence for toddlers. We had a 2 year old and just had to be watchful at the bluff overlooking the beach.
Hilary P.Aug 2017
Nice place, but could have been cleaner and more well stocked. I received some complaints about the sofa bed being really uncomfortable, but the rest of the beds were fine. Loved the big common area and the open grass field. Would have been nice to know when the landscapers were coming as we were a yoga group and they came right in the middle of meditation with their weed whackers.

This is a great home for a large family or for two families. If you like to wakeboard, waterski or just paddleboard on uncrowded waters the location is ideal. Water temps can be a little chilly for some (around 64 degrees), but when the air temps are in the 90s it's no big deal. The layout of the house and yard are simple and well thought through. The Beebe Park boat launch is only a couple of miles away and is super convenient. It's an area of nicer homes, and great views all around. Feels private, but is only about 10 minutes away from Chelan for groceries and other services.
Erin S.Jul 2017
Our entire external family enjoyed our week at River's Edge immensely. Bring your water toys (paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, etc) and play all day in the river.
Nathan M.Jul 2017
Stayed over the weekend with a group of friends. Was clean, tons of room, huge yard for yard games and waterfront access. What else could you possibly ask for? I would definitely stay here again.
Richard P.Jul 2017
Beautiful house and property. All the amenities. My family and I loved it.
Marcus J.Jun 2017
Stayed here with 12 other guys for a bachelor party and exactly what we were hoping for.. Plenty of space and a great backyard. No complaints and would stay here again for sure.
Gary G.Jun 2017
Great spacious place on the river.
Sharon H.May 2017
The details of the house was to the T! Everything was perfect, so spacious, and so clean and huge! The backyard was so open, with a basketball court, fire put, and the river.
I can't wait to be back at the house!
Mark W.Apr 2017
Wonderful house and great location. Pack all your supplies, limited initial soaps, paper towels etc. overall good experience.

We come every year for my husbands birthday and we LOVE it!!!!!
Maria A.Dec 2016
The house was perfect and cozy. Fit everyone in our group perfectly. The neighborhood was cute and the view was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!
Sandy K.Dec 2016
It is a great house for Thanksgiving. Lots of room for people to spread out yet still be together. Beds and bathrooms galore! River access is quite easy, and not a hard hike back up the hill. Getting the kayak down was a breeze wtih the zigzag trail. There are plenty of things to do in the area, from heading up towards McNeil pass to see the view or hike the trails, to going into "the city" for holiday shopping or last minute groceries. The Orondo Cider House is worth the trip if you are looking for a treat! We've stayed in the Lake Chelan area quite often, and Orondo one other time. It is a favorite place to explore. This house is the one we will go back to next time. It fit us perfectly.
Candice F.Nov 2016
Great place for a family get together! We loved the large kitchen and open living room. Plenty of entertainment for kids with the upstairs area and sport court. We would rent this house again!
Willie N.Oct 2016
Absolutely beautiful, spacious home. Right on the river and close to town, but still far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The island is huuuge!
Ian L.Sep 2016
Nice place for groups of 5-8
Bruce C.Sep 2016
This was our first time at River's Edge. Every year, our church men's group likes to go on retreat in this area. Overall, I think all enjoyed this house. Plenty to do, great views and comfy accomodations. VACASA made reviewing and reserving the property very simple. They were also very helpful if we encountered any problems. The only drawback was that there were only 9 sleeping surfaces for 14 men, so some had to sleep on the floor or on a couch. Otherwise, it would be GREAT for 4 couples and 5+ kids! Nonetheless, we are considering rebooking R/E for next year.
Felicia M.Aug 2016
The home is beautiful and spacious plenty of room and open floor plan. Private access to the river was amazing. The views are unbeatable. Great location to get away for a weekend and just relax
Duane S.Aug 2016
8 guys stayed here for two nights. 40 minute drive to Gamble sands. Little far but they had no accommodations completed on the G course yet. It was comfortable and very clean.
Janet P.Aug 2016
Family ages range from 73 to 5. The house is spacious. The dining table seats 10 and the island provides seating for four. There are two master bedrooms with their own baths. The other two bedrooms are close to another bathroom. The loft, which sleeps six, has its own bathroom. Access to the water is an easy pathway to the pebbly beach. The buoy close to shore made it easy to secure the boat. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and star gazing (no fires in the summer). The sport court (pickle ball) and large lawn provided fun (we brought our own volleyball net) when we weren't on the water. The property provides ample space for parking, including an area for a boat trailer. The family agreed that this is the nicest property of the three we have used beginning in 2010 and would like to return.
Kevin C.Jul 2016
This is a beautiful house with a nice big living room and family room. Easy to spend time with the family in. We loved having the basketball and picket-ball court outside and playing cornhole. A beautiful spot to take in the valley for sure.
Sue B.Jul 2016
Family of 14 gathered for a week. Had four generations the youngest, ages 3-9. Kids loved the foose ball table, Legos and outside activities including basketball, pickle ball and playing in the river. Great to have enough seating for family at mealtimes and plenty room to sleep. Kitchen stocked well and appliances nice, including a second refrigerator. Wifi worked fine with our many devices. Beautiful home and view.
Walter S.Jun 2016
The house is beautiful and the grounds are well-kept. The fire pit was a highlight for us. We enjoyed sitting around the fire and enjoying the company and environment.
The second floor of the house can get really hot. Don't know what can be done about it, but the kids loved to be upstairs and away from the adults, but kept talking about the heat.
We would stay here again!
Brigitte S.May 2016
We held a retreat at the property and were very pleased with the ambiance and quiet surroundings of the house. Unfortunately, the wheather was not warm enough to spend a lot of time outdoors, but the living room was large enough for our large group to gather comfortably. That was a great plus. In the evenings we enjoyed some time telling stories and singing around the large fire pit above the river. I hope to come back for our annual retreat next year if our group does not exceed 14.
Syam D.May 2016
Kids had a blast with the open backyard and basket ball hoop etc.. i am looking forward for the next stay here. one suggestion i have is if a metal fence an get installed for backyard so that kids can have more fun and be safe.
John D.Apr 2016
This house was an incredible find. We went with two families - a total of 4 adults and 7 kids. Everyone had a blast playing basketball and pickle ball on the sports court. The river was just a tad cold to swim in, but the little ones still had fun wading in the water. All in all, we had a great time. We definitely want to go back.
Tracy F.Mar 2016
This house is very clean and spacious. The sport court, fire pit, foosball table and path down to the river provided lots of activities for our son. He had a blast.
We stayed for a long weekend and would definitely rent this house again. Easy drive into Chelan.

We stayed here with some friends and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and big enough for a few families to relax and be together. The view is amazing!
