Alpine escape, w/ shared summer pool & hot tub, close to lifts & attractions!
Come plan your next romantic mountain escape at this Mammoth Lakes condo and surround yourself with easy access amenities and peace. Take a dip in the shared seasonal pools or relax in the community hot tub after hitting the downhill runs and tree-lined trails.
Located just a short walk from the Eagle Express by the Juniper Springs Resort, and a mile-and-a-half from the Village at Mammoth Lakes, this condo is never far away from fun.
Light pouring in from the sliding glass door will welcome you in and highlight the spacious main living area. Cuddle up on the soft couch and flip through the cable channels on the flatscreen TV. Enjoy the warmth of the wood stove as you pick out a DVD from the provided library to watch.
Pop open a local Mammoth Brewing bottle of suds and step out onto the private balcony to take in the peace of the mountains. Connect to the WiFi to check out the forecast before you plan your next excursion. You can fire up the gas BBQ to show off your grilling skills, or if it's a bit too cold outside, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make a great meal. Let the dishwasher take care of the clean up while you and your special someone indulge in a nightcap on the balcony under the alpine sky, or warm up by the fireplace.
Make a quick bite for breakfast, or hit the Breakfast Club for a morning burrito that will tide you over until dinner. Grab your fishing gear and visit the Lower Owens River to try your hand at catching rainbow and brown trout. During the warmer months golfers will love the Snowcreek and Sierra Star Golf Courses.
When the temperatures drop and the snow covers the mountain, Mammoth Lakes gives you the chance to delve into some of the best skiing in the state. Take the Eagle Express to a number of downhill options. If you're looking to warm up, the Holiday run gives you the chance to get a feel for the mountain before you push yourself on the deceivingly-named Sunshine Glades.
After a long day take a couple of laps in one of the community pools, then hit the shared hot tub to ease your muscles. Please note that the two pools, the hot tub, the tennis and badminton courts, the horseshoe pit, and guest BBQs are available in the summertime only. Finish the night off with a bowl of chips, some salsa, and truly mammoth-sized margarita at Gomez's Restaurant and Tequileria.
Spend your days exploring the beauty and adventures of the Eastern Sierras and your nights relaxing and unwinding when you book your stay at this Mammoth Lakes retreat.

The location was beautiful and convenient.
Place was clean and nicely decorated. Made it feel like home. I would love to go back and stay there again.
Really close to mountain. Great place to stay. Everything you need for a great trip!
Very cozy. Fire was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Small unit though. Good for 1-2 people for sure.
It was quite roomy for two people and has all the amenities needed. Would come again.
Great unit, warm and cozy and the hot-tubs were refreshingly nice and hot! Great location for MTN biking as it's an easy pedal to the Village and when you're done for the day you can take Juniper trail which kicks you out at the actual Juniper Springs resort which is less than 1 block roll down hill to Ansel Adams.
Shaded under unit parking and great friendly staff managing the place - awesome!
Nice place - close for a 4 minute drive to the village. Only issue we had is that the shower wouldn't stay on a single temp. Not sure if this was a building issue or something that is common here. Otherwise, everything was super chill.
We have had a minor issues with the pipes that will be resolved by mid-July that will address the water temperature issue. Thank you!
It worked for me and could probably work for a couple. House rules clearly state max occupancy of 2, no more and no parties (that's why there are 12 shot glasses in the cupboard?).
It's comfortable, mostly. I did not care for the foam topper on the full bed (others may, that's personal). The living area is homey and inviting with the couch and love seat, remember max occupancy at any time is 2, so you each get your own space.
The kitchen appeared to be stocked with most utensils anyone would need.
The place does need some serious TCL, the carpet looks original (deep dust behind stationary furniture) and there is not a receptacle in the place that can hold a plug; I had to stack boxes against the plugs to hold them in.
No washer and dryer, which are nice when you're on a ski trip or an extended stay.
Bottom line; if you're ok with no frills, Summit 217 is fine; if you have expectations, look elsewhere. And with Vacasa's service fees it's not really a bargain.
We have scheduled a carpet cleaning for this home, and maintenance is working on replacing all outlets in need. Thank you!
Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to get some skiing in yet still be close to town! The green line stops right out the front which goes to both the shops and lifts. Was great place to relax after a long day skiing.
Wonderful condo, close to village, clean, nice fireplace!
Great location, quiet, and covered parking. We celebrated thanksgiving here and the kitchen had just about everything we need to make an awesome turkey dinner. However, you get what you pay for.. After seeing the pictures, my expectations were a little higher and I was a bit disappointed once we got settled in.
The bottom of the fridge was full of water that we had to clean up each day. The mattress on the bed was super uncomfortable and I had a killer back ache each day. It has a foam pad on it but I felt a couple of springs poking me in the back each night. My spouse had no complaints so maybe it was just me. We also rented a few DVD’s but found both players were broken. If you stay here, you will probably notice the small stuff too so keep your expectations low so you will be pleasantly surprised when you enter.
With a small investment, this place could be a little gem but as of right now, I would rate it as a crash pad for two with the bonus of having a kitchen. I would probably stay here again on snow chasing weekend trips (if I brought my own mattress pad) but probably not for a extended stay.
Perfect place for a weekend with a spouse or with whole family.
Our stay at the summit was very pleasant. We were out most of the day fishing but once we returned to the room, it was very nice to get back and have a nice shower and get comfortable and settled in. The wifi was great! Most hotels or places I've stayed at have horrible wifi, but never had an issue here. Fire place was clean and plenty of wood available to have a fire. All the linen was fresh and clean for a very comfortable stay. I plan to stay here again in the near future and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay at.
My friend and I had a very lovely get away weekend at this cabin, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was beautiful, clean, and close to all the areas we wished to visit. It was quiet and easy to access. It is on the second floor, and there was an elevator to use which was very helpful! We would love to stay there again! Perfect for two people.
Great place to stay, feels like your own apartment! Clean and well kept, plenty of room to relax and have a great stay.
Very pretty condo with all the essentials, with a great bear motif interior
When we arrived we collected the key from a key safe in the underground car park and let ourselves in. Although not mad about TV it was disappointing that we could not get the huge set - with two different remotes - to work. We called the contact number and despite the efforts of the very friendly guy who turned up within 10 mins the set was not fixed until the following afternoon. There was no tourist information in the apartment and the only restaurants we found nearby all had 30-plus minute waiting times so we got a take out pizza from Dominoes. On the plus side it is a lovely location with a warm swimming pool and two spa pools - a great place to relax after travelling or exploring
These condos are very quiet at night and host a great family setting with pools and working jacuzzi tubs. Strict no smoking or party policy there, so if you're going up to Mammoth to party, you may want to stay somewhere else. Nice place though, solid 4/5.
The last minute vacation plan was a great one! We found this very afforadable unit and couldnt have enjoyed our vacation more! Cant wait to return.
No better place to enjoy and take in the beautiful area!
This property is a very short drive into the heart of town. It's easy to get to the activities we wanted to see in Mammoth, but just far enough to be quiet. You feel very much surrounded by the woods. The pool and hot tub are easily accessible from this room and feel great in the summer.
The space itself is really comfortable, especially the couch. The kitchen is well-stocked. It's a great place to see Mammoth with.
Enjoyed our stay and the place made us think about coming back.
Overall our stay there was really nice, there is a trolley and bus to take you into the village if you don't feel like driving, also if your skiing or snowboarding the mountain is really close and the eagle lodge is only about a 7-10 min walk, which was really nice.. The only thing we didn't like was the bed, mattress wasn't comfortable, but everything else we enjoyed.
Nice and comfortable, covered parking is a plus. The place even had an original PS1 with some fun games.
PROS- the condo is fairly large for a one bedroom so we never felt cramped. The location is 1/4 mile from Eagle so you can walk to the warming hut lift or hop on the Green Line bus that comes every 15 minutes - the 51 stop is right across the street. Underground parking was nice and definitely convenient to not have to remove snow from vehicle. Second floor unit was very quiet from surrounding neighbors.
CONS- literally the worlds most UNCOMFORTABLE bed. We stayed here for 6 nights and for 5 of them we made a make shift bed in the living room out of all of the couch cushions. Another renter complained about the same thing so hopefully the owners can look into replacing the bed.
Overall happy with the stay and we would stay here again but definitely not before confirming that the bed has been upgraded.
Very convenient location to everything. Staff very helpful and sincere.
Condo was gorgeous and had everything we needed in it. The only complaints were the shower and the heating not working. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again.
We apologize for those inconveniences experienced. The shower head and heater have both been replaced. Thanks!
We have a terrific 10 days in Mammoth doing what we love best - hiking! The apt was well situated, quiet, had all the amenities, close to shopping and the trails. Couldn't have been better.
Summit is an older property for Mammoth but this unit is a good value for the location and is in good condition. I would stay here again at this price.
Good location. Nice gym, pool and jacuzzi. However the appartement is dark, not clean (dust on kitchen counters, tables, bathroom shelves and dirty toilet). The bed is not comfortable enough.
Location to town is great. Nice pool, jacuzzis, & sauna. Nice condo with small balcony & nice views of trees from windows. Would not suggest this condo if you have young children and/or have a lot of things to unload & load from car because of distance from parking spot to the elevator, & distance from elevator to condo.
