Lakefront & ski retreat with wrap-around deck, wood fireplace, & private beach

Whether it is snow skiing or water skiing you prefer, a pleasant lakefront cabin stay awaits you and yours at Lakefront Kings Pine Cabin. Nestled on the gleaming shoreline of Crescent Lake, this charming cabin boasts a variety of cozy features such as a wood-burning fireplace, rustic mementos, and wood-paneled rooms. All of the amenities you need are at your fingertips, as the well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances with ample meal prep space and a washer/dryer. The lakeview living room provides a peaceful spot to gather by the fire and enjoy game/movie nights. The bedrooms are equally inviting with plush quilts. There is a new Mitsubishi Electric Heating and Air Conditioning system on both floors. The little ones of your family are also catered to with a well-stocked toy and game closet.

Crescent Lake is ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and water skiing, as it is a smaller lake and always calm – yet connected to the larger Lake Wentworth should you opt for a longer boat ride! There is a dock for your own motorboat or jet ski (a public launch is just across the lake), a sand beach, a floating dock to swim to and a variety of smaller boats/floats to choose from. In the winter there is ice fishing and skating when the lake freezes over.

Before you head inside from your lake activities, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower. On those long, lazy afternoons and evenings, spend memorable hours with your loved ones around the dining table playing a board game, sitting on the lakeside deck, dining al fresco or swinging on the deck's chairs and relishing beautiful views. Adirondack chairs on the lakeside dock overlook the water--perfect for sitting and watching the little ones play in the water or watching the sunset. Evenings are best spent gathered around the gas firepit on the deck located out on an idyllic peninsula surrounded by water—a family favorite!

When you aren't hanging out at home, downtown Wolfeboro – with its many shops and restaurants - is just a mile walk or bike ride away via a beautiful rail trail. There is a daily tour of Lake Winnipesauke on the “Mount Washington,” a classic multi-level touring boat that leaves the Wolfeboro town dock and makes a 2.5 hour trip around the big lake. There are public tennis courts and a golf courses in town. Just outside of town (two miles from cabin), there is a dog-friendly public recreation park, the “Nick,” with sports fields and restrooms, that is also the venue for the weekly town farmers’ market. Also nearby, explore Albee Beach, Wentworth State Park, Bald Peak Colony Club, Mount Major State Forest, and numerous bike trails. There are day hikes up Mount Major or Mount Chocorua, and overnight mountain hut hikes in the White Mountains that can be booked in advance through the Appalachian Mountain Club. Additionally, there is a large network of trails for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling (Lakefront Kings Pine Trail Map), that can be accessed via a short walk from the cabin.

During the colder months, there are several ski mountains in driving distance, from Gunstock Mountain (23.5 miles away) to the larger Attitash Mountain and Cranmore Mountain (42 miles away), or the local Abenaki ski mountain--perfect for kids, less than four miles from the cabin! Gunstock, Cranmore and Abenaki also have night skiing. There are also many cross-country ski trails around the town.
