Spend gorgeous sunny days at Little Elm Beach on the lake (13 miles) or visit The Cove at the Lakefront indoor waterpark if the rain decides to roll in. Also close by are Texas Woman's University (three miles), the research centers of Discovery Park (five miles), and the University of North Texas (five miles).
