The floating dock sits in a cove where water levels vary. Terrain down to the dock is natural and mountainous. Easy 2nd lake access (for neighborhood) is available just right of home / recommend bringing water shoes (for children and adults) swimming and walking on natural terrain. According to TVA: a year with average rainfall, the water level in Douglas Reservoir varies about 44 feet from summer to winter to provide seasonal flood storage. You can always refer to this website for water levels.
