This beachfront condo sits on the (elevator-accessible) third floor of its building, one that's perched at the edge of Calibogue Sound. On the grounds, you'll have access to a swimming pool, a hot tub, grills, and picnic tables for afternoon barbecues. When you're ready to get out and explore, rent a golf cart or bike to get around the island with ease. Visit the Daufuskie Community Farm, take long walks down the two-mile beach, or sample deviled crab at one of the island's unique restaurants.
Beach days are a joy here, thanks to the provided chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and sand toys. There's even an outdoor shower on the grounds and a private washer/dryer in the condo waiting to welcome you home.
Begin each morning with coffee on your wraparound balcony, where you can listen to the sounds of the ocean, sit down for breakfast at the teak table and chairs, and watch for passing pelicans, egrets, cranes, and even the occasional eagle. Things to Know
There is no bridge to the island. You must take a private boat or ferry. The guest must organize their own land transportation (the only way around the island is by golf cart or bike). The local host will send each guest a welcome packet including information on how to organize land transportation.
