The home is clean and spacious, perfect for getting family and friends together. If you like an open space concept you can go wrong with this home.

Overall this house fit what we needed and was close to the pool and park for our kids to play at. It had a great living space for tv nights and kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Had a great patio and front yard and out door dinning space.
This house needs some love! We got an email the morning of saying they were making sure cleaning was on point with covid going on. We walked in the floors were sticky could tell they had not been mopped. all ceiling fans, windowsills, were caked with dust. Only a half roll of paper towels, no extra garbage bags, no laundry soap or dishwasher soap (so we couldn’t even start those before we left) and bathroom had soap had been filled with water. Over the cleanliness was HORRIBLE and took away from our overall enjoyment of the weekend.
Manager response:
Hi Kyla, we apologize if the cleanliness of the home left something to be desired, and we will follow-up with our housekeeping team to see that future cleans are completed to our standards. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s about 20 mins from Lake Chelan. It was a nice community with lots of amenities. There was a community pool, tennis courts, basketball hoop, short walk to the river and beach area and playground area for kids. The house was clean, well equipped with kitchen items. The upstairs bathroom tub drains really slow. We had called in about the freezer leaking but no one came to check on it like they said. They just told us to put a towel there. Other than those small issues the house met our needs and we had a great time.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Suzanne. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We will bring your feedback about the drain and freezer to the attention of the local staff and see that they are addressed. We ask that guests reach out to us during their stay and we can quickly assist them with these items as needed. We hope to host you again very soon. Thank you!

Clean, well stocked with games, toys etc. The community itself has a nice pool and tennis court etc.

Overall, the open-concept living/dining area where we hung out during and after meals was pleasant. We enjoyed Leavenworth and visiting Oktoberfest and the river walk from downtown very much (just about an hour from the condo).

There were several observations about the property we had that I've shared with Vacasa, and hope will be improved for future renters:
Here are several observations and concerns we noticed about our recent rental for reservation:

- the drain in the shower upstairs probably needs to be cleaned. It drains super slowly, so the tub fills with water while you shower. We're guessing it's full of hair.

-No latch receptacle btw shower and toilet rooms, so you can't lock that door

-We noticed a leak onto the floor from the freezer all weekend, so that's why we left a towel on the floor. Perhaps something's wrong with the defrost cycle.

-the shower handle on the left (closest to the toilet) in the downstairs bathroom and the towel hook on the right both came right off the wall when we touched them/tried to use them. My husband had a tool set and was able to screw them both back into the wall.

-The edging/trim was missing a piece (about a foot long) on the kitchen counter when we arrived. I'll attach a picture.

-Both rooms on the left and right upstairs have malfunctioning blinds in the windows.

-The buttons to step on to open the trash cans downstairs are not working, so you have to lift the lid with your hands.

-Toiletries were only in the upstairs bathroom. There needed to be extra toilet paper and toiletries downstairs.

-When we arrived, we noticed white paint on the wall outside the closet with games.

-There were no rods or shelves in the bedroom closets upstairs, so they were not fully functional.

Just an fyi: the living room furniture is very comfy and there's lots of nice natural light. The plastic kitchen chairs are more like those in a cafeteria (not very comfy), but there are also wooden bar stools and a nice bay window by the table if you have more people than chairs like we did! We noticed that very few of the windows have curtains or functional blinds/shutters.

We also learned the hard way that you need to take one of the cards on a lanyard to get into the dumpster area to empty the trash.

The surrounding area is beautiful and I'd recommend picking up some fresh apples while you're here!
Manager response:
We appreciate the guests feedback. The drain and trash can are currently being looked at by local staff. Unfortunately, the fridge does leak from time to time; the hose will sometimes freeze and when it unthaws it can leave a golf ball size puddle on the floor. Housekeeping has been notified to stock the toiletries better. The blinds are scheduled to be changed when the renting season slows down and we appreciate the guest taking the time to fix the shower handle.

This property was great for families. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of beds for everyone. The location was a bit isolated, but the amenities made up for that. My son loved the pool, and would have stayed there all day. The house is about 20 minutes from Chelan, but there's not much in Orondo itself.

We are 4 older ladies that enjoyed ourselves at this clean home for 7 nights and 8 days.
Furniture and beds were comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen for making meals. (Not like some places we have been to.)
A walk in shower and a regular tub were available which worked for great for us.
Lighting was great except for knowing which wall you'd find the switch to turn on and off.
Has ceiling fans to keep air flowing, (we had a few days this April where it was in upper 70's).
The disappointing part, NO place to hang your clothes! 4 bedrooms with non functional closets!

We loved our 3 nights stay. Excellent property, well maintained and all modern amenities.
