These four lodge cabins and one lodge room are five of the 16 units at the Foothills Lodge and Cabins, a quaint property for all-seasons adventurers in the heart of South Fork. Spend your days kayaking and fishing in the South Fork and Rio Grande Rivers, hiking the Continental Divide Trail, exploring two million acres of national forest land, and skiing the winter slopes of Wolf Creek 19 miles south.

Whether you're planning to backpack the Weminuche Wilderness or visit Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve 66 miles east, you'll come home to eight bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and accommodations for a family reunion, wedding party, work retreat, a ski trip with loved ones, or any other group getaway.

The four lodge cabins - Lodge Cabin 1, Lodge Cabin 2, Lodge Cabin 4, and Lodge Cabin 5 - each offer a similar, 650-square-foot layout, providing guests with two bedrooms, one full bathroom, a living room, and a basic kitchen. Dogs are welcome at Lodge Cabins 4 and 5, but please note that a small nightly fee applies.

The studio-style Lodge Room 3 is also dog-friendly, providing 250 square feet of living space for couples or solo travelers. Although this room does not have a kitchen, it offers a full bathroom, a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. And after a long day on the local trails, you'll come home to find free WiFi and a flatscreen TV in each of the five units.
