We spent a weekend in the early fall at this cabin with friends, the home is super cosy considering it wasn’t midsummer and really hot outside. The bedrooms downstairs are actually a really fun addition and the view waking up to the lake is unbeatable!

Loved the location..right on the water. West side of the lake is where you want to be!
Even after prior concerns on this website on the state of the stairs going down to the beach, a portion remain in disrepair. The inside is dated, some furniture is clean but stained. Be aware that 2 of the bedrooms are accessed by separate doors down below…not as suitable for families with small children. No laundry on-site. Beds were comfortable. Linen clean. You just can’t beat the views however!!
Manager response:
Jane, thank you for your review, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope to host you again soon!

Accommodation was pleasant and clean. Easy access to put the kayaks in the water and we could peddle from the door or car shuttle up to the railway grade to round out our afternoons

a beautiful property on the west side of the lake. very nice renovations on the main floor.
Beware - the "private entrances" mean they are not accessible indoors from the rest of the house. with two small children the other 2 bedrooms were basically obsolete. beautiful spot but not good for young families. no washer or dryer. that was also a surprise. closest laundry is in grand forks. i think these two things should be clearer on the description of the property.

We have been coming to Christina Lake for 18 years. There is something to do for everybody. Golfing, boating, Hiking, Biking, tube rides down the river! A great place to visit!

Clean and practical. Beds were very comfortable.
Dock in good condition. All appliances worked. Spare propane tank on site when first one ran out.
Only issue was it felt like an invasion of privacy to have the webcams everywhere.

We vacationed with another family of 3 (6 total) For 5 days at Aussie Summer. The location and accommodation were fabulous. There were enough beds for everyone and the cabin had most of the amenities we required. The one thing that took us by surprise is there was no laundry facility. In the description when we booked they said there was laundry soap included. Our assumption was that there was a washer and dryer. Five days isn’t too bad without laundry but you are only given 1 towel per person and it would be nice to shower with a clean towel part way through your stay. We would have brought our own had we known. Other than that, we had a fantastic time here. The beds were comfortable and dock is perfect for enjoying the sun or mooring a boat. We also loved that we could bring our dogs. The dog towel and dishes were a nice touch. We would stay here again.

Hello efficient Staff at RentChalets,
Your services could not have been better ~ From thespeedy digital registration with David, to the extra calls needed re unexpected home maintenance re the sewage alarm and doors not lockable. One item that could have been awkward ~ no heat at all in the 2 lower bedrooms, could have been handled ahead of time by you, but I discovered this " chilly gap" ahead of time/guest arrival, and Tom subsequently ran out and bought 2 ceramic heaters, which worked well. I submitted a positive Google /Internet Guest review for you. I appreciated the good seasonal price discount of the 7th night free. Thanks again !

We have been coming to Christina Lake for 17 years now. Everyone in our family LOVES IT there! The stairs down to the water could use a facelift....there is one step that is smaller and a few people almost fell. The railing helped, but the stairs really should be replaced!Otherwise, everything was great! Thanks!
