Spacious dog friendly beach house one block to pacific beach state park

This Pacific Beach vacation rental house is one short block from the ocean, has an enclosed yard, grill, and large deck. Located in downtown Pacific Beach, it is a spacious cottage ready-made for Washington Coast getaways. Listen to waves and enjoy the peek-a-boo water views while gathered around the sunroom game table. Roast marshmallows in the private outdoor firepit, or beachcomb your way up three miles to the Moclips River. Indoors, it has a well-equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, plenty of popular books, games, and puzzles. Built in 1920, it is one of the few original cottages remaining in Pacific Beach. Be sure to watch 'McQ,” one of John Wayne's last movies, featuring scenes in the interior of this home! You’ll find it in the video library in the hall cabinets. The Museum of the North Beach is just up the road towards Moclips and highlights photos and memorabilia from the movie, as well as local history and artifacts. Surf-fishing and razor clamming are popular at the dozen nearby public beaches. You can even drive on the beach in certain areas. The Beach House is a perfect location to access recreation and sites on the Olympic Peninsula and National Forests.

What's nearby:
Pacific Beach State Park is less than two blocks south and offers an incredible 2,300 feet of Pacific Ocean beachfront activities that include picnicking, kite-flying, camping, fishing, swimming, clam digging, and beachcombing. Take a drive less than two miles south on State Route 109 to the restaurants and retail shops at Seabrook.
