Beautiful location with lots of local hikes, loved the wood burning stove and hot tub.

It was exactly what i needed. time away to reflect. The hot tub, the quiet, and my daughter loved it too. The cleanliness was 5 out of 5!

Our stay was wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was wonderful, the fireplace was our favorite. Despite rainy weather we were cozy and comfortable. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the jacuzzi tub was what I looked forward to most (I'm pregnant and cannot use the hot tub), however, the jets didn't work and were taped off. Because of that, there was some black stuff that did come from the jets sitting. But again, everything else was wonderful!
Manager response:
Hi, Kylie! We are getting the tub jets thoroughly cleaned out and apologize for that oversight. Hopefully we get to host you again someday!

The cleanliness, the mountain view, and overall the whole cabin is amazing! Satisfied!

Loved the back deck with the hot tub. Had some nice mornings with coffee and family. Eating dinners at the picnic table was fun. Loved the strange old evergreen trees. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. It was a very short walk to the river. Made a bunch of great memories. 😃

Lovely. Perfect. Quiet little place to make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

This cabin is beautiful! Accessible for Stevens Pass Skiing and index region hiking.
There was a wood stove but no firewood provided. We had to scour our own wood and kinder to start the fire.
The hot tub in the woods is amazing.
Con: Overpriced. The per night fee is awesome but the extra charges almost double the cost of the stay ( hot tub, cleaning fee, owners fee ). Would hope for all that fee, they would accommodate early checkins/late checkouts but none of that has been happening ( understandably so due to covid but as a consumer I do feel restricted in my purchase and do not feel I get bang for buck ).

Might come back :)

We really enjoyed staying at the property. You folks made it easy. Thanks. One thing... When cleaning the jacuzzi check the Jets for dirt and hair. We tried to clean it for you but others may not be so patient about that.
Manager response:
We apologize if housekeeping missed getting the jets cleaned for you; we will discuss this with them. Thank you!

This cabin was a super cozy, the highlights were the hot tub, outdoor firepit, the cozy living room where we hooked up our own Nintendo switch and had the fire going. The fire cooks the entire cabin it's great. We brought our own wood. The two beds downstairs have brand new padded mattress covers, a previous review mentioned a wonky fry pan, we used that pan and it fits with a mountain cabin, it's great for doing pancake or sausage. Please don't get rid of it. The jacuzzi tub has a window that looks up to the snow top mountain. What else could I say WE LOVED THIS CABIN AND WILL BE BACK!

When we first got to the property, we were enamored by the coziness of the cabin. As the days went on, that coziness turned into a bit of a nightmare. Little things that should have been addressed before our visit became glaring sore spots in our stay. Firstly, every pan in that kitchen was either warped or broken, and the block knife set couldn't even cut toilet paper. Broken dishes were still in the cabinets, and while the silverware was in surprisingly wonderful condition, i cannot say the same for the rest of the kitchen. While this may seem minor, the addition of black gunk coming out of the jacuzzi tub, the absolutely abysmal state of the master bedroom bed [sleeping on sheet rock would give a better night's rest], and the neighbors seemingly constant use of a chainsaw made what should have been a relaxing and needed vacation into a series of grumbling annoyances. The icing on the cake, and what earned this place such a low rating from us, is the fact that a maintenance surveyman came by the day before we were set to leave, having been told no one should be at the cabin, and essentially ruining what had been planned as a romantic moment. I and my partner are incredibly frustrated; we saved up for this trip, we spent weeks finding the right cabin, only to be let down by a place not living up what what was advertised. This property has so much potential but it felt a lot like the owners stopped caring to maintain it.
Manager response:
Hi Robyn. Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us feedback. We're sorry to hear that these details in the home were missed. We have reached out to our local staff and homeowners to get these issues addressed as quickly as possible. We do hope that we have another chance in the future to impress you.

It has beautiful views and is very clean, but they don't provide firewood, even though they should them in the pictures. And the power went out on us for about a whole 24 hours, during a rain storm about 2 days into our vacation. They refused to give us firewood, so we could survive. We had already spent most of our vacation money on souvenirs, and food earlier that morning, and then the power went out. So we spent the night freezing, and huddled in one room. We only had enough money for the trip home. And they were telling us to leave the house, but I had rented it for a whole week. I wasn't going to leave that early into our vacation. But once the power came back we were good. But then the power went out again on the last night we were there. So we packed up and came home a day early because we didn't want to deal with another night of freezing in the rain.
Manager response:
Hi Jennifer, thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the circumstances of your stay. Unfortunately, firewood is not a listed amenity for this home and we are sorry our offer of reimbursing you if you choose to leave early wasn't sufficient. Again, we are very sorry for this disappointing stay and hope you will allow us the opportunity to host you in the future. Thank you.

This is a great cozy place with a short walk to the river. Very quiet area. Great parking. The code didn’t work, but Becca (filling in for manager) was super helpful and we ended up
Using the key. The master bed mattress needs to be replaced. There is also a pan in the cupboard that is warped and not usable. The hot tub was great! The 2 twin beds up in the loft are super comfortable and the skylights are great. You can see the stars while lying in bed :). More overhead and lamp lighting would be great for evening time. This is really a great place to stay, just needs some upkeep attention. Thank You
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Rebecca. We are replacing the warped pan and have advised the homeowner of your concerns with the mattress and lighting. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again!

I absolutely loved this property. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and the maintenance guy was really helpful!

Thank you so much for a wonderful private getaway. The cabin was exactly set up for our family and the river was private and beautiful! Our kids did not want to leave The fun layout inside and private setting. We also enjoyed the little bonus of the jetted tub and fully usable kitchen for cooking. We will definitely have this house in mind for another getaway down the road. Thank you so much.
Amanda V. May 2020
I loved the jacuzzi tub and how close we were to the river. The cabin had views of the mountains and a lovely hot tub!
Marshall T. Feb 2020
The cabin was convenient and comfortable... if you could get over the fact that nothing was really clean. We turned on the jacuzzi to find a cloud of black mold flakes spewing out. The dishes were put away visibly dirty and with a layer of grease on it. The windows and under the beds look like they haven't been dusted or vacuumed for a year (when my glasses fell under the bed retrieving them was an extremely unpleasant experience). It would have been a great stay if the cleaning service had been thorough.
Manager response:
Hi, Marshall! Thanks for taking the time to help us improve! The property manager has looked into the problems and taken steps so this won't happen again. Thanks again for your thoughtful comments.

This cottage was the perfect weekend away from the city. It was clean and stocked with all the basic needs. A few friends and I stayed to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't have been happier. The location was stunning- with natural beauty and the cutest neighboring homes. We felt like we're in a forest fairytale. There were plenty of great hiking trails near by for daytime activities and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exercise was the cherry on top! The hosts were quick to respond and offering suggestions. Would definitely recommend!

This was a great place to stay, beds were comfortable, nice open space for living room and kitchen with lofted ceilings (A-frame). Had an owl perched on a tree in the front yard one night. Wood-burning stove gives off a lot of heat which was nice (we had low temps while there).

Rating it 4 instead of 5 for a few concerns: (a) it's somewhat dark indoors at night, and that wasn't helped by several bulbs being burnt out, (b) cooking pans were all bent/warped, not possible to get even heating as a result, (c) only 3 laundry gel packs (fortunately I had brought more of my own).

Nice, quiet house not to far from Stevens Pass. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Loft space great for kids!

Cabin was perfect for us! We skied at the nearby Stevens Pass resort and got some really nice conditions there. We also made a trip to Leavenworth which had a lovely German Christmas market. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The stove kept us nice and toasty during the cold winter days there. We had everything we needed and the property manager was super helpful and responsive. Would come back in a heartbeat

My husband(Nathaniel) was in charge of planning our 1 year anniversary trip and he surprised me with this AMAZING cabin!! We moved up here from Louisiana 6 months, and the one thing I've missed was the whirlpool tub in our old home. I was extremely happy when I learned there was not only a whirlpool tub (WITH JETS) in the bathroom, but also a hot tub on the deck! Being in the Cascades was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was very clean, everything we needed where there for us. I fell in love with this place, and I cannot wait to visit again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

The cabin was really nice and clean. It was so cozy and charming! We loved the backyard with the fire pit and big table and bench. Kids had a blast running around playing with sticks and leaves etc. The hot tub was amazing! The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Kids loved the loft upstairs, with the big sky light window! You could see the sky with all the stars! We loved it so much that we will definitely return! Thank you so much for having such a nice getaway for busy family's!

Wonderful cabin, great location, easy very short walk to the river. Will be even better when the fence is complete...huge yard for dogs to run.
The Thompsons . Feb 2016
Thank you for a lovely stay - your cabin was a peaceful and welcoming retreat. We ventured up to Stevens Pass and Deception Falls, had a lunch and a beer at the Whistling Post (best fried chicken!) and then came back to crackling fire, cards and a Huskies game. Great weekend away!

This was an amazing house to stay at. We would love staying there again! Only 25-30 min from Stevens, very quiet and clean, and many great amenities inside the place.
