These rooms share another full bathroom. The lower floor is home to the last bedroom boasting a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, and the kitchenette is complete with a full fridge, small cooktop, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The private backyard offers mountain and red rock valley views, and no neighbors in the rear.
This location can't get much better if you are after full days of outdoorsy fun, as you will be less than a mile from the heart of Brian Head, and Brian Head Resort is just across the street. Brian Head Resort is Utah’s best kept secret-pure and simple, keeping winter sports fun and affordable with the lowest lift ticket prices for a full-service ski resort in Utah. There are virtually no lift lines so you can actually enjoy your time on the slopes. Brian Head has two mountains with eight chairlifts and terrain to fit almost any skier or boarder. Navajo Mountain is completely dedicated to beginners, with a ski school, beginner terrain park, and daycare. Winter months will obviously be spent skiing and snowboarding, yet warmer times of the year make ziplining, mini-golf, hiking, and mountain biking great ways to soak up some sunshine. Plus, Cedar Breaks National Park is also nearby that is home to a half-mile deep gorge and a display of Utah's famous red rock formations.
Things to know:
Full kitchen upstairs & kitchenette downstairs
Ring Door Bell surveillance camera
4WD/traction may be required in winter
Parking Notes: Two Car Garage & Overnight Parking is allowed on the private driveway. No Street Parking.
Water Access: Bristlecone Pond is Brian Head's newest edition. The pond sits in the heart of Brian Head, and features a large pavillion (which can be reserved by contacting Town Hall) and several small pavillions, barbeque grills, campfire rings, and a playground. The pond is a hotspot for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and paddle boarding. Some folks do brave the chilly waters at 10,000 feet. Those who do are rewarded with a good workout and fun story. We strongly urge swimmers to wear a life vest as the cold temperatures can make challenging conditions for even strong swimmers.
Lots of kids enjoy taking off their shoes and kicking around in the shallows. We urge parents to be close by as the cold temperature of the water can make for dangerous conditions.
Panguitch Lake is just 18 miles from Brian Head in Dixie National Forest right on Highway 143. The lake has approximately 10 miles of shoreline and is ideal for year-round fishing. In the summer you find excellent fishing for some of the largest rainbow trout in Utah. Boats are available for rent. In winter ice fishing is a popular sport and easily accessible from local lodges.
