Where is Maui Kai?

Maui Kai is located right on the ocean on the west side of Maui. There is excellent snorkeling nearby at Black Rock Beach, and the historic whaling town of Lahaina is less than six miles to the south. If you're looking to get a relaxing massage, the premier Ho'ola Spa at Honua Kai is under a mile away.

The immediate beach area is uncrowded, and you might be lucky enough to sight huge whales passing in the shallow waters between Maui and the neighboring island of Moloka'i. If you're looking for places to see the land-based beauty of the Aloha State, it's just a few miles to the excellent hiking at the West Maui Forest Reserve.

There's plenty of man-made fun to experience in the area as well! World-class golf and tennis can be found just a short distance away, and you'll find all the shopping you could wish for at Whaler's Village three miles to the south.
