We just returned from a wonderful week at the Lemon Drop Inn in Corolla, NC—and it truly exceeded our expectations! The house is beautifully updated, with a bright and open living space, a well-equipped kitchen, and stylish finishes throughout. The highlight was definitely the private oasis outside: a gated pool, hot tub, and a kiddie pool kept everyone entertained. We especially loved the game room adjacent to the pool—it was a hit with both the kids and adults. We appreciated the roomy and comfortable bedrooms (each with Roku TVs!), and the luxurious bathrooms felt spa-like. The house comfortably slept our group of 8, and even our dog felt right at home in this pet-friendly retreat. Location-wise, it’s a winner: about a 10‑minute walk to the beach and only 2 minutes to a serene 7‑acre lake. Despite being close to attractions (restaurants, mini-golf, grocery stores), the neighborhood stayed peaceful and quiet. Check-in was seamless with the digital lock code and clear instructions provided. We had no issues at all. Overall, Lemon Drop Inn offered everything our family wanted: relaxation, entertainment, comfort, and convenience. We’re already planning our return stay!

Pros: View, Kitchen, Living area, pool, porches, outside seating × amount of inside seating, shower pressure, random kiddos items, beach toys, parking amount, location. Cons: cleanliness (found trash and food wrappers in drawers, dead flies laying around), mattresses were not that comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely use Vacasa again! The staff communicated beautifully upon our arrival and helped us with check in greatly!
